NIWeek 95 Combines Developer Conference and User Symposium to Offer
Technical Sessions, Sneak Previews of Upcoming Products

January 20, 1995 -- Austin, TX - National Instruments announces NIWeek 95,
which includes a Developer Conference followed by a User Symposium, to be
held at the Stouffer-Renaissance Hotel in Austin, from July 2328, 1995.
NIWeek 95 is designed for end-users, professional developers, and systems
integrators who would like in-depth technical training on National
Instruments hardware and software products. The goal of NIWeek 95 is to
give attendees the critical information they need for their ongoing
application development. Scientists and engineers can use this information
to speed system development, discover how to use hardware and software to
build computer-based instrumentation systems, and to share ideas with
other end-users.

About the Developer Conference

The Developer Conference (July 23-26) addresses the needs of developers,
consultants, and system integrators in the National Instruments Alliance
Program. The conference sessions contain information on technical issues
such as Performance Tuning in LabVIEW and LabWindows/CVI and Optimizing
Data Acquisition, as well as sales and marketing topics such as Effective
Advertising and Publicity, Working with National Instruments, and
Comarketing Opportunities. The conference also contains an Alliance
Roundtable for a discussion of issues common to Alliance Program members.

About the User Symposium

The User Symposium (July 26-28) gives end-users the opportunity to exchange
application knowledge. Simultaneous technical tracks presented by expert
users, National Instruments engineers, and Alliance Program members
include sessions on Instrumentation, Test and Measurement, Process
Monitoring and Control, Data Analysis, and more.

Information-Packed Week

NIWeek 95 includes keynote presentations on National Instruments
strategies, presentations on National Instruments hardware and software
products, and panel discussions on important issues relating to both
National Instruments and its customers. Technical Working Groups focus on
topics such as market trends and latest technologies, as well as new
products and features needed by customers. On Wednesday, National
Instrument developers will conduct technical workshops concentrating on
advanced programming techniques for LabVIEW and LabWindows/CVI, standards
for instrument control, and technical issues related to data acquisition
and signal conditioning. Attendees can visit the exhibition hall during
NIWeek 95 to obtain more information about the products discussed at the
conference.

Call for Papers

A user symposium offers an open forum for individuals to exchange
information and ideas. Each user symposium benefits from the "hands-on"
expertise of those presenting papers about their applications. End-users
interested in receiving a Call for Papers should contact National
Instruments. Deadline for receipt of abstracts is March 1, 1995.

Registration

Early registration runs through May 1, 1995. The price for attending either
the Developer Conference or the User Symposium is $295, or $495 for the
entire week. After May 1, the price for attending each part of the
conference is $395, or $595 for the entire week. The User Symposium is
free for presenters. Conference fees include continental breakfasts,
buffet lunches, dinner, and receptions in the exhibition area. Hotel
accommodations ($95 per night) are separate.
