Lotus Signs Worldwide License Agreement With Ibex Technologies

Lotus Support Services Standardizes on Ibex Fax-on-Demand Software

ORLANDO, Fla, January 23, 1995--Ibex Technologies announced today that it
has signed a worldwide software license agreement with Lotus Development
Corp. to provide enhanced fax-on-demand technology for users of Lotus
support services. Lotus will adopt Ibex's FactsLine for Lotus Notes as the
fax-on-demand standard in more than 25 countries, using a phased roll-out
during 1995.

Ibex systems allow Lotus customers and business partners direct global
access to Customer Service and Support's library of technical support
solutions, including a range of material from technical documents to
application tips. Callers use their touch-tone phones to request documents
stored in Lotus Notes databases for immediate transmission to their fax
machines.

"We selected FactsLine as the Lotus standard because of its dependable
operation and the ability to automatically include Lotus Notes documents
in the fax-on-demand library of documents," said Tom Sweeny, Lotus
Manager, Information Management and Publishing, Worldwide Systems and
Technologies. "Ibex was highly responsive to our need for a
fully-integrated worldwide support system."

Lotus Customer Service and Support (CS&S) maintains a library of technical
support documents in a Lotus Notes database. This database is available to
all Lotus support professionals in each of the Lotus support centers
around the world. When a Lotus support expert contributes a new tip or
technique, this information is replicated to all support staff worldwide.
With Ibex', Lotus Notes integration, additions to the CS&S library are
also available to any worldwide Lotus customer with a phone and fax
machine.

"FactsLine with FactsLine for Lotus Notes is a perfect application for
Lotus," said Ney Grant, president of Ibex, "because it extends access of
Lotus's Notes-based documents to any Lotus customer with a fax and phone,
in record speed."

For example, a new technical memo about Lotus Notes authored by a support
engineer in North Reading, Massachusetts, can be accessed globally within
a few hours using the Lotus FactsLine system. For added convenience,
FactsLine automatically creates a new index of available documents each
time it detects a new or modified document. Thus, callers to the system
are notified of any additions or changes to the database.

An industry leader in fax-on-demand since 1989, Ibex Technologies, Inc. has
garnered numerous accolades for its flagship product, FactsLine for
Windows. An updated version, FactsLine 2.0, will be available in the first
quarter of 1995. Exciting new FactsLine features will include FileBack for
on-demand data file transfer and Remote Image/Voice Update, and will be
available in the first quarter of 1995. FactsLine for Windows starts at
$6,700 and the FactsLine for Lotus Notes module is available for $2,495.
