Graphix Zone Inc. (NASDAQ:GZON), an expert on multimedia and leading
producer of CD-ROM music titles, today announced that it has signed an
agreement with The Improv Comedy Club to produce a series of entertaining
yet educational CD-ROM titles.

While edutainment CD-ROMs have enjoyed continued success, this new series
redefines learning by immersing the viewer in an atmosphere of
entertainment and laughter, the Improv's field of expertise.

"By using comedy as a teaching tool, people are more apt to learn because
they have fun doing it," explained Chuck Cortright, president and CEO of
Graphix Zone. Ult also provides us with a very creative way of extending
our educational/technical series of CD-ROM titles."
According to Budd Friedman, the Improv's founder, the organization has
always tried to set the pace for comedic entertainment. "We are constantly
looking for innovative and original comedy concepts. Interactive
entertainment and CD-ROMs are the wave of the future. Graphix Zone is
riding the crest of this wave with its unprecedented approach to CD-ROM
publishing," he said.

The joint venture incorporates the innovative spirit of two leading
pioneers in their respective fields: Graphix Zone, a leader in multimedia
and CD-ROM publishing, and the Improv, first to open a comedy club 31
years ago and subsequently produce a televised comedy club performance
show.

Founded by Budd Friedman, Improv has 17 comedy clubs around the country,
including the first Improv which opened in Manhattan in 1963. Its success
led to the opening of a Los Angeles comedy club in 1975. This was followed
by a syndicated television series entitled "An Evening at the Improv"
broadcast on the A&E cable channel.

Founded in 1989, Graphix Zone develops, produces and markets interactive
multimedia products for the computer and entertainment industries. The
company also produces proprietary works for such companies as Sony,
Toshiba and Disney, and educates consumers through its Graphix Resource
Center seminars and roadshows.
