Delrina Unfolds New Marketing Strategy For OEM Channel

Long-term Partnering, New Product Offerings Highlight Strategy Aimed At
System Vendors and Fax Modem Makers

SAN JOSE, CA and TORONTO, ONT -- January 30, 1995 -- Delrina Corporation
(NASDAQ: DENAF, TSE:DC) today unveiled an aggressive, new, marketing
strategy to further increase its presence in the OEM (Original Equipment
Manufacturer) channel. The two-fold strategy is comprised of 1) developing
more intimate partnerships with OEMs that entails custom work and
co-development, co-marketing and promotions, and the potential for revenue
sharing in Delrina's communications services; and 2) new fax, data and
voice communications product offerings for Windows and the Macintosh.

Delrina has formed an Emerging Markets business unit with a dedicated
infrastructure for OEM business that includes its own marketing,
development, quality assurance, documentation, technical support and sales
resources. "We recognize that the OEM business is changing," said Ian
Mackay, general manager for Delrina's Emerging Markets business unit.
"Vendors are looking for unique offerings so they can meaningfully
differentiate what they offer from their competitors. It's becoming a
build-to-order business and we have been and continue to gear up to meet
this demand. We believe we offer OEMs very strong brand name equity, a
wide range of standard products that are the most reliable in the
industry, and a commitment to more long term relationships by developing
customized products for their specific needs."

Delrina has been producing specialized versions of its software for some
OEM customers. For example, AST Research Inc. includes a special version
of WinFax LITE that fully integrates with ASTWorks, an easy-to-use
software interface that is pre-installed on all AST Advantage! personal
computers. According to Dennis Cox, AST director of marketing, consumer
products, "Advantage! PCs are marketed to the consumer market, so part of
its success is dependent on providing the customer with a complete out of
the box solution. Delrina was able to work with us to merge the
communications fax capability of WinFax into AST Works, which offers one
of the industry's most comprehensive and easy-to-use communications
capabilities."

In addition to working closely with its OEM customers, Delrina has some new
product offerings. Among these offerings is a new version of WinFax LITE.
The new WinFax LITE 4.0, which sports a similar user interface to its full
featured counterpart, WinFax PRO 4.0, includes basic send, receive and fax
file management capabilities. WinFax LITE 4.0 also includes built-in
access to Delrina's enhanced communications services, Fax Broadcast and
Fax MailBox. As part of its new strategy, Delrina is offering OEMs the
opportunity to share in the revenues generated by customers subscribing to
the Fax MailBox service, and plans joint marketing campaigns for the
services with OEM vendors. Delrina expects to ship more than seven million
units of WinFax LITE this year.

Along with WinFax LITE 4.0, Delrina offers basic on-line communications
software -- WinComm LITE. Some OEM customers offer WinFax LITE and WinComm
LITE together as a suite. Delrina also offers Delrina Fax LITE for
Macintosh, a LITE version of its award-winning fax software for the
Macintosh.

Delrina is currently under development of a new WinFax LITE with voice
messaging and telephony functionality. Some of the "voice" features are: a
telephone answering machine capability for voice mail and messaging with
multiple mailboxes; automatic dialing and speed dialing; call
discrimination, which enables the sharing of a phone line between fax and
voice calls; caller ID; a speakerphone capability; integrated voice
message management with faxes; and full WAV file support with voice file
compression. The product will support the new generation voice capable fax
modems that are AT+V or TAPI compliant.

In recent months, Delrina's strategy has begun to attract new OEM
customers. Some recent deals have been concluded with: AT&T GIS, British
Telecom, Xerox Corporation, Infotel, Fountain Computers, Motorola, AMP
Incorporated, Zoom Telephonics, Maxtech by GVC, Askey Computer
Corporation, E-TECH and BottomLine.
