LAS VEGAS, NEV.- JANUARY 6, 1995 -- Sport Accolade has announced Brett Hull
Hockey '95 will be available in January for the Super Nintendo
Entertainment System and Sega Genesis. The product will feature Brett
Hull, the second-most prolific goal scorer in NHL history, along with more
than 600 players from the National Hockey League Player's Association
(NHLPA) and sports announcer, Al Michaels doing the play-by-play. Brett
Hull Hockey '95 provides an option for garners to customize their team
attributes to match their own individual taste and playing style. Both
versions of Brett Hull Hockey '95 will sell at the same suggested retail
price of $59.95.

Brett Hull Hockey '95 will feature several modes of play including
exhibition game, 11 game short season, 42 game half season and an 84 game
full season, culminating in Championship play. It will also include a best
of three, five and seven game playoff series. The special coach mode
allows players to adjust the strength and weaknesses of their team in
seven categories including skating, puck control, shooting, strength,
aggressiveness, and defensive skills. The game has a user-friendly instant
replay feature (SNES version only), the ability to turn penalties on and
off as well as select and change line settings. It is full of hard-hitting
animations such as bone-crushing hip and body checks and blistering
slapshots that hockey fans demand in a game. Stats fans will enjoy game
and individual player stats such as goals, assists, save and passing
percentage, power play and one-timer ratios.

"Brett Hull Hockey '95 has lots of exciting features that hockey fans are
sure to enjoy," said Pam Levins, the executive producer of the SNES
version. "We've put in a variety of shots including one-timers and drop
passes. Animation that puts you right in the thick of the action,"
concluded Levins.

Nintendo's Mode 7 offers players a "down-on-the-ice" perspective with
scaling player graphics. A password feature will allow players to resume
season and playoffs in progress, while the shoot-out practice mode lets
players go one-on-one against the goalie. The SNES version will also
feature an animated scoreboard offering spectacular visual effects
following goals, hat tricks, penalties and other significant events in the
game.

The Sega Genesis version includes a memory chip which allows you to save
play in progress as well as compile statistics for your team. Each of the
teams can be customized in exhibition play to allow adjustments in
difficulty level by changing individual team attributes. This includes
team speed, shots accuracy, stamina and aggressiveness. The Sega version
also offers a unique 35 perspective of the ice rink, and an on ice referee
that will drop the puck for face-offs and call the penalties.

Brett Hull Hockey '95 also features complete play-by-play commentary from
Emmy award-winning sportscaster Al Michaels. He garnered his first
"Sportscaster of the Year" award in 1980, the same year he made his
memorable calling of the U.S.A. hockey team's dramatically successful
quest for the gold medal in the Winter Olympics at Lake Placid. He went on
to cover hockey during the 1984 Winter Games in Sarajevo and during the
1988 Calgary Winter Olympics.

Brett Hull, right winger for the St. Louis Blues, is one of the NHL's
greatest goal scorers in NHL history. He is the son of the legendary
Hall-of-Famer, Bobby Hull, whose reign in the 60's and 70's earned him the
reputation as one of the best all-around hockey players in history.
