publisher of sports simulations, today announced Barkley: Shut Up and Jam
2 for the Sega Genesis. Designed as "basketball at its roots", this sequel
to Barkley: Shut Up and Jam features 2000 animations, two times more than
its predecessor, and more of than any other basketball game currently on
the market. Shut Up and Jam 2 is also the only basketball game featuring
Charles Barkley, arguably the most notable, outspoken basketball player on
the court today. Barkley: Shut Up and Jam 2 is scheduled to release in
March at a suggested retail price of $59.95.

In Shut Up and Jam 2, gamers choose from one of eight different courts
located throughout the U.S., in which to take on Charles and his teammate.
Charles always partners with his favorite hometown court teammate -- while
the gamer must choose his two man team from ten selectable characters,
each with his own playing style and strengths. Shut Up and Jam 2, allows
for different levels of gaming expertise, and offers more than 25 jams and
no refs in sight during single or tournament play.

Other enhancements to Barkley: Shut Up And Jam 2 include the ability to
save stats, and more control pad sequences which provide extensive
defensive moves and more control over the players on the court. Shut Up
and Jam 2 has improved sound, including the voice of Barkley himself as he
rules the court. "Gamers will love to hear Charles as he heckles his
opponents," said Danny Pisano, the producer of both Barkley products.
"This is street basketball, the way Barkley likes to play it. This
no-holds-barred game screams with his in-your-face attitude."
