publisher of golf simulations, today announced Jack Nicklaus Golf: Golden
Bear Edition, the most realistic golf simulation available for the Windows
environment. Designed in association with Jack Nicklaus and Jack Nicklaus
Production, this premium golf simulation invites players to compete
against Jack Nicklaus on two of his signature courses, Colleton River
Plantation, in Hilton Head, South Carolina, or at Country Club of the
South in Georgia. Beautiful photo-realistic graphics set in 256 colors in
640 x 480 SVGA resolution, and fully digitized male and female golfer
animations, including Jack Nicklaus himself, provide the ultimate golfing
experience.

For computer golfers wanting the ultimate challenge, Jack Nicklaus: The
Course Designer accessory disk lets players create their own courses. Sold
separately, this accessory disk will carry a suggested retail price of
$24.95. The CD-ROM version will include both the main product and
accessory disk. Jack Nicklaus Golf: Golden Bear Edition is scheduled to
release in the second quarter of 1995 for PC ($59.95) and PC CD-ROM
($69.95) computers running Windows. The Jack Nicklaus: The Course Designer
will release at the same time.

Jack Nicklaus Golf: Golden Bear Edition provides players with all the
equipment accessory to customize their game including, adjustment of the
club loft, stance and swing. Authentic statistics to track your game with
printable stats will update after each round. True ball flight is
accurately represented such as drives, punch and pitch shots. Golf fans
will enjoy the multiple play formats such as Stroke, Skins, Match and
Tournament play. Digitized sound brings to life all the majestic sounds of
nature, plus colorful player commentary.

Jack Nicklaus: The Course Designer accessory disk provides all the tools to
design an individual hole or an entire course. The Course Designer offers
new tools such as rulers, yardage markers and other design accessories.
The Course Designer simply cuts, copies and pastes, using the "Magic Wand"
to duplicate and move bunkers, greens, or any contiguous area, it will
even move an entire hole instantly.

From the vast object library provided, course designers can create or
import objects, place backgrounds into their designs and populate their
course with up to 500 different trees and other objects on each hole.
