The XJ12 Multimedia Distribution Amplifier is a computer video projection
system. The XJ12 allows an instructor to send his/her computer screen to
multiple remote computer monitors throughout a lab or building. The
instructor's "master" screen is distributed with the same clarity and
quality as the computer monitor from which it was sent. Video and audio
distribution are initiated from the "master" location by simply pressing a
button. Pressing this button sends the "master" station's video and audio
to all connected remote computer stations allowing the class to see and
hear exactly what the instructor is doing on his/her computer in
real-time.

When the instructor sends the "master" video and audio, all connected
computers are rendered inoperative. This feature allows students to view
the instructor's monitor while disallowing the students from using their
own computers. If the instructor allows, the students would be able to
"switch" between his/her monitor and the instructor's monitor. This
alleviates the need for an LCD panel and a projection system. What's more,
an XJ12 system can be installed for about half the cost.
