Windows Software Ensures Fair Employee Evaluations

Paradigm Software Development Releases Version 2.0 of WorkWise-Evaluations

Seattle, Washington--November 14, 1994--Paradigm Software Development, Inc.
announced today version 2.0 of WorkWise-Evaluations, a Windows program
that provides extensive tools to keep track of employees' work history,
monitor employees' progress, and conduct thorough, objective employee
reviews and evaluations.

WorkWise-Evaluations is unique because it supports both single-rater and
multi-rater reviews and evaluations. Like many other evaluation programs,
the program helps managers keep detailed employee histories and provides
the tools to conduct single-rater reviews. But unlike other evaluation
software, WorkWise-Evaluations provides the capability to conduct
multi-rater reviews such as Peer-to-Peer reviews, Three Sixty reviews,
Bottom-up reviews, and then process the results to flag potential areas of
reviewer bias according to EEO classifications..

Because the employee can be reviewed both by his supervisor and by other
employees, coupled with the fact that the program allows the supervisor to
be reviewed by employees, reviews are more accurate, more objective, and
less biased. The large number and type of reviews available also allows
thorough tracking of an employee's historical progress and development in
specific performance areas. Managers will find "Management by Objective"
easier to accomplish due to the program's ability to track goals and
measure levels of accomplishment. The program features an airtight
security system that allows employees to receive feedback from their files
without accessing sensitive or private information.

The program works alone or integrates seamlessly with Paradigm Software's
WorkWise-Employee File (a program which keeps detailed, extensive employee
records and information). WorkWise-Evaluations supports the import and
export of data with major accounting and human resource programs, as well
as with dBASE, Microsoft FoxPro, Microsoft Access, Btrieve, Paradox and
ASCII formats and is ideal for workgroup use on networks.

WorkWise-Evaluations requires a '386sx processor, 2 Mb of RAM, Windows 3.1
and 5 Mb of hard disk space for single user systems; and a '386dx, 4 Mb of
RAM, Windows 3.1 and network software that supports the NETBIOS interface
for multi-user systems.

The program is available through the retail and VAR channel including
Egghead and suggested retail pricing ranges from $129 to $279 per user.
