Trinzic Announces Support For Sybase IQ Accelerator Through The Forest &
Trees Decision Support System

Palo Alto, CA, November 29, 1994--Trinzic Corporation (NASDAQ:TRNZ) today
announced that the award-winning Forest & Trees decision support tool will
support Sybase's new IQ Accelerator query optimization software and
Sybase's new data warehousing strategy.

More Powerful and Efficient Access to the Data Warehouse

"Sybase has added an important dimension to the data warehouse
implementation," said Frederick J. Lizza, vice president and general
manager of the Trinzic Data Access and Connectivity Business Unit.
"Storing vast amounts of information is necessary in today's enterprise,
but an efficient engine for generating interactive and unplanned queries
is critical to the warehouse success. The business people using our Forest
& Trees software want data so they can effectively analyze their
business--and they want it now. Integration with IQ Accelerator means
Forest & Trees users can get the data they want as soon as they want it."

Trinzic Endorses Sybase Client/Server Warehouse Framework

"Trinzic is in the business of connecting data from heterogeneous sources,"
added Lizza. "The Sybase Client/Server Warehouse Framework creates an
environment that users can readily access. It also provides a place to
accumulate important data from relevant sources within the corporation.
For instance, data stored in a legacy database management system can be
used to populate the data warehouse using Trinzic's InfoHub software
working in conjunction with the Sybase MDI Gateway or the OmniSQL Gateway.
In other situations, data stored in other server DBMS such as Lotus Notes
may be required. In that situation, Trinzic's InfoPump could be used to
replicate the data from the source database to the target data warehouse.
Overall, I see Sybase's entry into this market as a real plus for any
organization that accesses and analyzes data."
