SuperCom is a development tool to aid programmers in the development of
multi-platform communications applications. The SuperCom libraries allow
programmers to easily develop custom communications applications between
computer systems using multiple serial ports in a multitasking environment
under DOS, Windows, OS/2, and Windows NT.

Features include direct register programming; interrupt driven transmission
and reception; line status, modem status; buffering up to 64K; baud rates
up to 115 Kbaud; UART support for 8250, 16450, and 16550; simultaneous
COM1..COM 36 use; Flow control RTS/CTS, DTR/DSR, XON/OFF and user defined.
Protocols and emulation include: ASCII, XMODEM, XMODEM/CRC, YMODEM,
YMODEM/BATCH, ZMODEM: Terminal emulation: ANSII, TTY, and VT52.

Serial communications support is included for multitasking, Hayes modems,
RS422 and RS485; non-intelligent multi-serial boards from AST, ARNET,
DigiBoard, Hostess, and Stargate. There is also support for the DigiBoard
intelligent PC/Xe, Xi, Xem series of multi-serial boards.

The same programming interface is used throughout the different operating
systems and languages. SuperCom is available for C, C++ and Visual Basic.
Full source code comes with the product and no royalties are charged. The
product also includes Protected Mode Interface for Windows and
SuperCom++.
