Street Wizard Map Software on CD-ROM

December 13, 1994 -- San Diego, CA - Adept Computer Solutions, Inc.
announces the release of its headliner Street Wizard mapping software on
CD-ROM. Street Wizard 5.0 is a low cost mapping application that runs in
the Microsoft Windows environment. If you've ever tried to find your way
around an unfamiliar neighborhood using paper maps, you'll appreciate
Adept Software Solution's latest version. The small San Diego based
company has brought new functionality and tools to the table. According to
Scott Pickett, the President of Adept, they will continue to support its
floppy disk products. Floppy diskette maps are available for any county in
the US.

Street Wizard can look up addresses, calculate routes, attach to databases
and print maps and text directions. The CD-ROM version helps you find your
way around any major city area like a native.

The CD-ROM contains maps of all the counties in the state of California
plus maps of over 130 major metropolitan areas across the US. The map
files must be installed on the hard drive prior to use. This not only
speeds up the program, it allows the user to download maps onto a portable
computer not equipped with a CD-ROM drive so the maps can be used on a
trip. The maps are loaded and unloaded from the hard drive with a single
mouse click. Full compatibility with floppy disk maps is retained. The
CD-ROM is available for $99.95. This means your maps cost less than a
dollar each. Licenses for additional computers sell for $29.95.

Street Wizard is used by a broad spectrum of people including insurance
companies, real estate agents, appraisers, health care providers, delivery
services, law enforcement agencies...even Disneyland uses the software.
The San Diego County Sheriffs Department uses Street Wizard on portable
computers in all their patrol cars. The Los Angeles Fire Department uses
it to keep track of maintenance on fire hydrants and hazardous materials.
But you don't have to be a member of a big organization to benefit from
this amazing software. The low price tag means individuals can afford it
to use it to find the soccer field, a store, theater or any address in the
area, or print maps to help friends find a party.
