Santa Clara, Calif., Oct. 31, 1994 -- Mirus Industries Corporation,
award-winning manufacturer of desktop slidemakers, today announced that
PowerMac support would be included as a standard component of its entire
film recorder line, beginning with shipments after October 21, 1994. The

emulation modes.

Customers who took delivery of a Mirus film recorder within the last 90
days should contact Mirus at 800-942-9770 to receive their free PowerMac
Upgrade software. Those cusomters who purchased new units beyond the
90-day window can purchase the upgrade for $195. Users of turbo II's and
GALLERIA's currently running on a PC platform can obtain PowerMac support
by purchasing the Mirus ImageMac package for $595. This package includes
all necessary drivers, fonts and customization software to operate a Mirus
FilmPrinter on any Macintosh II computer and up.

MacKay, president of Mirus Industries Corporation. "That includes staying
current with market developments and enabling our users to make optimum
use of the latest available technology. We believe the PowerMac will be a
significant platform for our customer base: they tend to be early
adopters, and rely on technology innovators who can provide them the best
tools for getting the job done."
