GRAFFIX Screen Capture System for Windows and DOS now captures text screens
in color to GIF or PCX

December 12, 1994 -- GRAFFIX 4.1 includes screen-capture programs for both
Windows and DOS. The DOS program is a TSR that can now capture a text
mode screen to an ASCII file or to an Attribute Text File. The ATF format
preserves text color attributes. A utility program is included that can
display an ATF file in graphics mode, so that the captured text mode
screen can be converted to GIF or PCX format. The DOS TSR can also
capture a screen from a graphical application and save it directly to a
GIF or a PCX file.

While GRAFFIX for Windows is minimized, press PrtSc to capture the screen,
and GRAFFIX will pop up and display the capture. You can then save the
entire screen or any rectangular portion to a BMP, GIF, or PCX file.
GRAFFIX for Windows can also save to an ASCII file text that was captured
to the clipboard by pressing PrtSc while a DOS text mode application was
running full-screen under Windows.
