INTRODUCING BIJOUPLAY 2.0, A POWERFUL MOVIE THEATRE FOR YOUR MACINTOSH

November 25, 1994 -- MUSI Computer Products today announced the
availability of BijouPlay 2.0, a major upgrade to the acclaimed movie
player.  With over twenty enhancements to the previous version including
extensive support for Macintosh System 7.5, this release of BijouPlay is
the most feature complete QuickTime movie player available for Macintosh.

This enhanced version of BijouPlay provides support for many key components
of System 7.5, including AppleScript, AppleGuide, Macintosh Drag & Drop,
Thread Manager and QuickTime 2.0.  AppleScript support includes scripting
and recording of basic functions in BijouPlay, including opening and
playing of movies.  An AppleGuide help database is included to guide users
through the process of creating, editing, playing, and saving a QuickTime
movie.  The extensive QuickTime support in BijouPlay includes functions
for changing instrument arrangements in QuickTime Music movies, finding
text in a movie with a Text track, and multiple movie playback.

In addition to these great new enhancements, there have been extensive
modifications to the core functionality of BijouPlay.  Among these are :

   - multiple simultaneous movie playback with the Thread Manager
   - ability to create and save slide shows of movies
   - a greatly improved movie info window
   - a new Find feature for finding text in a movie
   - integrated Note Pad for adding Text Tracks to movies
   - new Print To Video function for saving movies to tape
   - and many other improvements...

System Requirements

BijouPlay 2.0 requires a Macintosh with a 68020, 68030, 68040, or PowerPC
processor with at least 8MB of RAM (2.0 MB of application RAM), and System
7.1 or newer version of Macintosh system software.  It is recommended that
users wanting to take advantage of new features upgrade to System 7.5.
