ARTISOFT LAUNCHES NEW EDUCATION PARTNER PROGRAM

Certifies Third-Party Training Facilities Nationwide

(TUCSON, AZ--Nov. 28, 1994)--Artisoft, Inc. announced today its Artisoft
Education Partner Program, designed to train Artisoft customers and
resellers on the company's award-winning networking products. The program
certifies nationwide independent training firms to conduct Artisoft
Approved classes and the company is presently working to partner with
professional training organizations to offer its technical courses through
the program.

"By working with leading training firms, we will have the opportunity to
effectively provide affordable product education and award-winning support
to our growing base of customers and resellers," commented Artisoft Vice
President of Sales and Support Joel A. Davis. "The Artisoft Education
Partner Program will help us to expand our training capacity while
ensuring that our customers learn how to optimize their Artisoft software
for a high return on their technology tool investment."

Artisoft's first Education Partner, Compumax, Inc. in Denver, Colo., is
managed by Artisoft Certified Instructor D. Roger Maves and serves both
Artisoft customers and resellers. Maves, who is President of Compumax and
also an Artisoft Advantage Partner, has been teaching the Artisoft
courseware for more than a year. "Such a cooperative training program has
been long overdue," said Maves. "End users will now have convenient
training options. Having the Artisoft stamp of approval has been an
advantage because potential customers can now recognize us as an official
training center. Even though Artisoft products are very easy-to-use, the
classes help customers and resellers to expand their technical knowledge
in order to better optimize and grow their network. Participants have been
very surprised by how much they learn and leave the training with many
practical ideas that can be applied to their networks."

Education Partner Program Support

Artisoft's Educational Services division has developed the courseware and
class content that will be offered through the Education Partner Program.
Artisoft Approved courses include "Install, Configure and Troubleshoot
LANtastic v6.0 Networks" and "Optimize Your LANtastic Network." Classes
are available to all Artisoft customers and resellers.

Artisoft will support its Education Partners through ongoing technical and
marketing training sessions, annual meetings and cooperative marketing
support. Marketing cooperative funds based on the amount of courseware
purchased by each partner will be applied toward advertising and marketing
activities. Partners will have the opportunity to use the Artisoft
Education Services logo to promote Artisoft Approved training courses.

Education Partners will also benefit from education referrals. Artisoft
will refer students to partners based on dates of courses and locations.
In addition, Artisoft will offer significant discounts on courseware and
will provide, at no cost, the course-required software. Artisoft products
will be offered at a discount for display and demonstration purposes.
Education Partners can also access a special forum in Artisoft's BBS to
receive the company's award-winning technical support.

Education Partner Program Eligibility

Third-party companies that wish to become an Education Partner must have
dedicated training classrooms in place and have at least two years of
experience in the technical training business. Fees include $2,500 for the
first training site and $1,000 for each additional site, with annual
renewal fees of $1,000 per site.

"Compared to other industry vendors that offer nationwide training centers,
our Education Partners receive significant savings on their start-up costs
for this program," Davis said.

Those interested in becoming an Artisoft Education Partner should contact
