Traveling Software's LapLink for Windows To Be Bundled With Xircom's New
CreditCard Ethernet+Modem II

Partnership Provides Optimized Mobile Computing Solution

BOTHELL, Wash., Nov. 2, 1994--Traveling Software Inc. today announced that
LapLink for Windows will be bundled with Xircom Inc.'s new CreditCard
Ethernet+Modem II (CEM II). LapLink for Windows, the newest remote
computing solution from Traveling Software, offers integrated remote
control and file transfer capabilities for portable computer users.

LapLink for Windows' remote control capabilities enable users to access a
database, run e-mail and other applications on a distant PC which is
running either DOS or Windows. And with the addition of SpeedSync , modem
file transfer speeds can increase by up to 800%.

"The new Xircom Ethernet+Modem combined with LapLink for Windows provides a
comprehensive mobile computing solution," said Mark Eppley, chairman and

The CreditCard Ethernet+Modem II combines the functionality of an Ethernet
LAN adapter and a v.32 terbo modem onto a single PCMCIA card. This
second-generation adapter features the industry's first truly
international cellular-ready modem, adds an embedded UART for increased
compatibility with fax communications software and includes an unique
Windows-based installation program.

The LapLink for Windows/CEM II bundle will be available for a U.S. list
price of $799 (10BaseT model) through authorized distributors and
resellers. Users can expect to purchase the adapter for an approximate
street price of around $650.

LapLink for Windows is also available separately at resellers nationwide at
a suggested retail price cf $199.95. Registered users of previous versions
of LapLink or other Traveling Software products can upgrade to LapLink for
Windows for $79.95 by calling the Traveling Software Upgrade Center at
