WYND COMMUNICATIONS INTRODUCES WIRELESS E-MAIL FOR WINDOWS

WyndMAIL Is First Mobile Messaging Service To Combine Wireless Paging,
Phone Features

SAN LUIS OBISPO, Calif., November 14, 1994 -- Wynd Communications Corp.
today introduced an integrated mobile messaging and information service
called WyndMAIL for Windows. WyndMAIL combines wireless access to internet
electronic mail with telecommunications features that give a mobile user a
convenient way to combine computers, pager, and phone into an integrated
messaging system.

"Our goal is to help people manage their communications when they're
mobile. WyndMAIL delivers messages to your portable e-mail and can notify
your pager that a message is waiting. If you wish, you can have messages
sent to another mailbox or a fax machine, instead. You won't lose
important messages as you move about," said Dan Luis, general manager of
Wynd.

WyndMAIL strategy is to grow the WyndMAIL product by combining wireless
email with telecommunications features. "Wynd Communications is taking
full advantage of our parent company's 11 years of experience developing
innovative telecommunications products and services," said Luis. Wynd
Communications is a subsidiary of Call America, a California
telecommunications company. Both Wynd and Call America are based in San
Luis Obispo, Calif.

Through its alliance with Wireless Telecom Inc. (WTI) Wynd provides
customers with a single source for equipment, service, and support.
WyndMAIL for Windows is available now. In a related announcement, Wynd
plans to ship a Macintosh version of WyndMAIL within 30 days and support
the Hewlett Packard 95/100LX handheld computers before the end of the
year. A previously announced version supporting DOS-based personal
computers is also available.

WyndMAIL Messaging Features

WyndMAIL provides direct access to internet electronic mail, including
addresses on Compuserve, America Online, and ATTMail, with a choice of
wireless modems. Messages can be of any length, and can have document
files such as spreadsheets attached. WyndMAIL has a built-in compression
facility, reducing message size by an average of 40% to speed delivery and
keep down the cost of sending files and attachments over the wireless
network.

Incoming messages can be redirected to another e-mail address, for
increased mobility. The user is not billed for a wireless transmission
when WyndMAIL messages are redirected to a mailbox on a dial-up message
service.

WyndMAIL for Windows can operate in background mode, receiving messages
while the user is performing other tasks. WyndMAIL software resides on the
personal computer and does not require the user to have an office LAN.

Persons without a computer can send messages to a WyndMAIL user by
dictating to a Wynd Message Center operator, available 24 hours a day at
800/644-WYND.

Paging Notification of Unread E-Mail

WyndMAIL can send e-mail message header information (sender, subject, date
sent) to a pager. Incoming messages can be sent to the pager immediately
or only if they remain unread for a selected length of time. With
easy-to-use filters a user can have WyndMAIL notify his or her pager of
all incoming messages, can exclude Dow-Jones and other information service
messages, or can have messages notify the pager based on time and day of
week.

Information Service Delivery

WyndMAIL includes complimentary daily delivery of the Dow Jones Business
Daily, which sends headlines and synopses of top business news stories as
well as the Dow Jones Industrial Average. Subscriptions are available to
Dow Jones Mobile News, which sends breaking news on the user's selected
topics of interest directly to the WyndMAIL user.

WyndMAIL wireless e-mail is carried on the RAM Mobile Data wireless
network, which provides nationwide availability and seamless roaming. It
supports the Ericsson GE Mobidem and the Motorola InfoTAC wireless modems.
Wynd has announced that in the future it will support other wireless
networks, including CDPD cellular data networks.

Pricing

WyndMAIL for Windows software retails for $59. Wireless modems are $495
(Mobidem) and $795 (InfoTAC). Wynd provides a single monthly bill that
includes all charges and provides full customer support, both online and
telephone.

After a one-time activation fee of $99, monthly service charges for
wireless messaging are based on usage and range from $49 for 50 kilobytes
to $139 for unlimited messages. Users are not required to sign up in
advance for a usage plan. Telecommunications options are billed only when
used: faxes are 75 cents a page; Message Center is 95 cents a message; and
paging is 50 cents per message.

According to the company, the built-in message compression keeps the cost
of wireless messaging for an average user, including D-J Business Daily,
at $79.
