Writings of W. Cleon Skousen Now on Computer 

November 2, 1994 -- OREM, UTAH Verity Software has recently released the
writings of W. Cleon Skousen on computer. This collection is the first and
foremost of it's kind. It includes 25 books, 38 speeches, over 300
articles, and other study materials. Six decades of Dr. Skousen's
research, writings and speeches have finally been collected into one
location.

Over 45% of the material in this collection is new, out-of-print, or
previously unpublished material. This 45% includes books that are no
longer in print, transcribed speeches, published and unpublished articles
gathered from his journals, and class notes from Dr. Skousen's BYU
classes. Also included in this collection is Dr. Skousen's newest book,
The Majesty of God's Law, due to be published in April 1995.

Dr. Skousen's writings have been placed on the computer under the powerful
Folio PreVIEWS program, allowing instant access to any passage or quote.
The PreVIEWS program has been used internationally by companies such as
Infobases, Inc. to publish thousands of books on computer. Available for
DOS, Windows or Macintosh, packages come with disks or a CD-ROM.

In creating this collection, Verity Software separated the writings of Dr.
Skousen into two groups, The Religious Works of W. Cleon Skousen and The
Political Works of W. Cleon Skousen, with a price of $69.95. The Complete
Works of W. Cleon Skousen, which is a combination of the two, is priced at

W. Cleon Skousen, an internationally known writer on Constitutional and
religious issues, has been teaching, speaking and writing for over 60
years. A graduate of George Washington University with a Juris Doctor
degree, he spent 16 years with the FBI, working directly under J. Edgar
Hoover. After spending several years as administrative assistant and
professor of religion at Brigham Young University, he served for nearly 4
years as Chief of Police of Salt Lake City. Returning to BYU in 1967, he
taught religion classes until his retirement in 1978. In 1971, he founded
the Freemen Institute, which was later renamed the National Center for
Constitutional Studies.
