Teltone Introduces T-311 Desktop CTI Product with Caller ID

November 22, 1994 -- BOTHELL, WASH.: Teltone's T-311 TelephoneAccess Unit,
its single-user computer-telephone link, now provides Caller ID signal
detection. T-311 users running TeleMagic or other contact management
software can now see customer records displayed on screen as calls come
in.

The T-311 works with a personal computer and contact management software to
automate the calling process, effectively turning the PC into a powerful
telephone. It allows user to dial from their keyboard, or will
automatically dial from TeleMagic, prompting the user when a connection is
made. It detects busies, no-answers, and bad numbers, updates the customer
record and automatically initiates the next contact, freeing the user to
concentrate on the customer.

The latest version of the T-311 detects and decodes Caller ID messages in
both single (date, time, number) and multiple (date, time, number, name)
message formats, and provides a Visual Message Waiting indicator. The unit
includes a headset port for hands-free operation, and an audio interface
for control of a tape player, allowing recording or playing messages as
directed by the computer.

Applications for the T-311 with TeleMagic include telemarketing,
appointment verification, receivables, credit checks, and customer
service. The T-311 brings the power of personal computer-telephone
integration within reach of any size business.

The T-311-B is list priced at $475.

Teltone designs and manufactures products for secure access to business
