FUTURE LABS to release TALKShow CAD Edition
Real-time remote design review now simplified

November 15, 1994 -- Detroit, MI -- Future Labs Inc. today announced the
release of the TALKShow CAD Edition, a multi-point document conferencing
software package for Windows that was specifically developed to satisfy
the requirements of today's CAD environments.

The new CAD Edition incorporates exclusive new features such as the ability
to directly import common CAD file formats including DXF, DWG, and HPGL
files, a first in Windows document conferencing technology. Moreover,
through the use of the Window-area zoom, CAD designers can focus in on D
and E size drawing details with no loss in resolution quality.
Participants can view the same CAD drawings in finite detail from each of
their remote locations. Four additional benefits to designers include
Multi-point Application Viewing, Remote Control Slide Presentation,
Document Auto-load and Network Modem Pool Support.

"TALKShow has already proven itself to be an everyday solution for those
needing to cost-effectively review information and make timely decisions"
said John Chua/ President of Future Labs, Inc. "The TALKShow CAD Edition
takes this one step further by providing the specific features that CAD
designers need", he concluded.

The TALKShow CAD Edition let's you interactively review, mark-up, and edit
drawings and designs from different locations in real-time with all of the
members of your team. In addition, with multi-point application viewing, a
conference participant can work "live' within an application for others to
view and mark-up. TALKShow offers built-in notation tools for easy
collaboration: highlighters, pointers, pens, arrows, etc. The end result
is that FutureLabs' application viewing technology provides more document
editing flexibility and performance than any other Windows product on the
market.

In design review sessions where several drawings need to be reviewed, those
drawings may now be pre-loaded into a slide tray and pre-sent with
TALKShow's remote control slide presentation. This means that during the
conference, the presenter clicks through slide changes with no
transmission delays whether the participants are connected by modem or
network. This is especially relevant to CAD designers who would otherwise
face lengthy delays awaiting a document the size of a D or E size drawing.
In addition, designers have the benefit of reviewing the tray of drawings
ahead of time.

TALKShow simplifies the import of any multi-page document with its new
document auto-load feature enabling a one-step process for copying an
entire document to the slide tray for presentation to the participants'
whiteboards. The slide tray allows documents from different sources to be
mixed and their sequence rearranged.

Another significant feature is network modem pool support. Where it is
common practice for companies to provide modem access to users through a
modem server(s), users can now conference through network modems that
support Interrupt-14.

"TALKShow CAD Edition further demonstrates FutureLabs commitment to provide
real solutions to specific business segments," said Rick Vieth, VP Sales
and Marketing at Future Labs. "We are pleased to provide a product
tailored to meet the specific requirements of those involved in real-time
CAD reviews", he concluded.

TALKShow CAD Edition is priced at $495 per single user license and is
available November 15th. The requirements for TALKShow CAD Edition are:
DOS 3.3 and Windows 3.1 or later, a 486 PC with 8 MB memory and 5
Megabytes of disk space. TALKShow can be used with a wide variety of
communications options including: Hayes compatible modems (minimum 9600
recommended); LAN/WAN protocols: NetBIOS networks, TCP/IP (including
Netmanage, LAN Manager, Sun, FTP, Novell, Frontier Super, Beame &
Whiteside, Microsoft TCP/IP32), IPX and ISDN link. TALKShow CAD Edition is
also available in network server packs -- the 5-user pack is priced at
$2250.
