Reply Announces Higher Performance for PS/2 Systems

With over a million sold to date, IBM's most popular PS/2 systems, the
Models 56 and 57 can now be transformed into full-powered 32-bit systems
with Reply's latest PowerBoard System Upgrade. Reply Corporation announced
the new 32-bit Model 56/57 PowerBoard System Upgrade, offering a selection
of 486 processors including the latest DX4 100MHz technology, and
featuring 64-bit local-bus SVGA video with GUI accelerator, up to 64MB of
system memory, and integrated SCSI hard file interface to support new and
existing drives -- all in a complete replacement motherboard. The Model
56/57 Power-Board upgrade increases overall system performance by up to
eight times over the original system to directly compare with IBM's newly
announced, high-end PS/2 Model 76 and 77 machines.

The upgrade for Model 90 and 95s utilizes Reply's DX4 Module to provide a
simple, low-cost alternative to transform these systems from their first
generation 486 technology to the latest technology DX4 chip available.
Performance is increased to a maximum of 100MHz to deliver near-Pentium
performance with an iCOMP index rating of 435 in comparison to the 75 and
100 scored by the original processors.

The Model 56/57 PowerBoard System Upgrade starts at $1,095 with an Intel
486SX2/50 processor. The Model 90 and 95 upgrade starts at $995. Contact
