MILLER FREEMAN ISSUES OS/2 WORLD CONFERENCE & EXHIBITION CALL FOR SPEAKERS

Second Annual Conference and Exhibition Dedicated To OS/2 Scheduled For
July, 1995

San Francisco -- November 21, 1994-- Miller Freeman, Inc. has released the
call for speakers at the second annual OS/2 World Conference & Exhibition,
July 18-21 at the Hynes Convention Center in Boston. Proposals for speaker
presentations and workshops must be submitted by January 6, 1995.

The OS/2 World Conference and Exhibition will offer more than 80 technical
courses and workshops covering a wide range of subjects, from
Client/Server Solutions and Remote Network Administration, to Multimedia
Applications Development, Database Design and Implementation and
Understanding OS/2 Programming Models. Conference attendees -- primarily
corporate users, system administrators and applications developers -- have
expressed the greatest interest in educational sessions that improve their
skills in working with OS/2.

Each accepted speaker will be required to submit a technical paper, of six
to ten pages, to accompany either a ninety minute class or an all day
tutorial session. These papers will be included in the OS/2 World
Conference & Exhibition Official Proceedings, distributed to all class
attendees.

Proposals for teaching lectures and workshops must contain the following
information:

* Course title, speaker's name, affiliation, 100 word biography and
  contact information.
* A 200 word abstract describing the class, benefits to participants
  and prerequisite knowledge required.
* Specify whether the presentation will be geared toward the
  beginning, intermediate or advanced OS/2 user.

Accepted speakers will be notified by February 10 and final papers are due
March 14, 1995. All speakers will receive complimentary admission and a
complete copy of the conference proceedings--valued at $195.

OS/2 World Conference & Exhibition, the only independent event devoted
exclusively to IBM's OS/2 operating system, is presented by Miller
Freeman, Inc., the nation's third largest producer of conferences and
trade exhibitions. The OS/2 World Conference & Exhibition is sponsored by
OS/2 Magazine, OS/2 Developer, LAN Magazine and Stacks: The Network
Journal and is produced in cooperation with IBM's Personal Software
