MADDEN NFL '95

ALL NEW VERSION OF AWARD-WINNING TITLE TO SHIP ON FOUR PLATFORMS

San Mateo, Calif., November 15, 1994--EA SPORTS , the largest division of
Electronic Arts (NASDAQ: ERTS), today announced its plans to ship the 1995
version of its award-winning John Madden Football franchise for the Sega
Genesis and Super NES systems on November 18, "Madden Football Friday."
The game will also be available for Nintendo Game Boy and Sega Game Gear
hand-held systems.

The best-selling sports video game of all time returns this season and for
the first time features the 1994 NFLPA rosters on the Sega Genesis and
Game Gear versions. The game also boasts full season player statistics,
windowless passing, over 100 player injuries and all new player art and
animations.

Madden NFL '95 now features a windowless passing mode that allows game
players to view all three receivers down field at once. Also, the
offensive teams are smarter, employing strategies and play-calling just
like real NFL teams. Test the new artificial intelligence by trying to
stop the Falcon's "Red Gun" offense or the Bill's no-huddle, hurry-up
attack.

The running game remains an exciting and crucial aspect of Madden Football.
Due to the wider field in the '95 version, gamers now see their running
lanes better and can almost feel the sensation of an NFL running back
bursting through the line of scrimmage.

Madden NFL '95 includes a new defensive playbook that features real NFL
defenses, like the Cardinals 4-6, the Buccaneers pirate, and the Seahawks
and Falcons Double Talon. John Madden collaborated with the production
team to design 44 updated defensive plays for this season. An additional
new feature, "Scouting Report Updates," keeps gamers informed about player
injuries during the season and throughout the playoffs and Super Bowl.

A multitude of exciting new player animations include eight new end-zone
dances, lay-out tackles, high stepping, the straight arm, and the QB
slide. The game also includes this years' new NFL rules: the 2 point
conversion and longer kick-offs. Gamers can now keep in-depth player and
team statistics when simulating an entire NFL season with one of 28 NFL
squads or the All-Madden team.

Also on the shelves this November is Madden '95 for the Nintendo Game Boy.
Published by T-HQ, Inc. (NASDAQ: TOYH) under Malibu Games label
specifically for EA SPORTS, Madden '95 for Game Boy features 80 different
teams and 200 plays.

The football realism consumers have come to expect from EA SPORTS' John
Madden video games line is finally available for Game Boy," said Brian
Farrell, Executive VP and COO at T-HQ Inc. "The product's 4 megs of memory
allowed us to deliver those critical elements that have made EA SPORTS'
16-bit Madden titles some of the top selling in recent years," continued
Farrell. Madden '95 takes advantage of the Super Game Boy graphics and
will retail for approximately $34.95.
