INTERACTIVE MEDIA RELEASES NEW CD-BASED GUIDE TO INTERACTIVE MULTIMEDIA
AUTHORING

Interactive Multimedia-Getting Started 2.0 Provides Users an Easy Way to
Experiment With Multimedia

LOS ALTOS, Calif.--November 30, 1994--Interactive Media Corporation (IMC)
today announced the release of Interactive Multimedia-Getting Started 2.0,
an enhanced version of its Macintosh CD-ROM title. IMC pioneered the
now-popular concept of the multimedia tryout disk with the first version
of Interactive Multimedia-Getting Started. The product is the first to
allow both novice and professional Macintosh users to try their hand at
multimedia authoring, without scripting, timelines, flowcharts or other
complex interfaces.

Interactive Multimedia-Getting Started recently was selected by Apple
Computer, Inc. to be bundled with its new Apple Presentation System. Apple
Computer also adopted Special Deliveryx 2.0, IMC's multimedia authoring
tool, to create an in-box demonstration of the multimedia options
available for its new Macintoshx 630 product line.

Lisa Payne, product manager for entry Macintosh products at Apple Computer,
said, "We chose Special Delivery because of its ease of use and powerful
interactivity. We felt it would allow novice users to easily create
presentations with impact. The intuitive interface is easy to learn and
people familiar with standard presentation products will appreciate the
ability to readily add new dimensions of sound, movies and interactivity
to their work."

Interactive Multimedia-Getting Started 2.0 is priced at $24.95 and features
several key additions and improvements to the original release, including
a trial copy of the newest version of Special Delivery 2.0. The CD-ROM
also includes new sample projects including the in-box demonstration from
Apple Computer and Mountain Vision's demonstration of its mall-based kiosk
for the Peregrine Fund, a non-profit environmental group.

"We received a strong, positive response to our original CD, and felt it
was important to continue to offer Macintosh users access to some of the
latest tools used in multimedia creation," said Roger Badertscher,
President of IMC.

"We have seen a large number of mainstream Macintosh users eager to try
multimedia creation on their own, but confused by the complexity and
diversity of the products offered in the field. IMC created this CD to put
all the tools and elements in one place, along with appropriate examples
of what can be created, and how multimedia projects are assembled. We
think this approach will allow multimedia 'tire kickers' to rapidly become
users of this new technology."

Interactive Multimedia-Getting Started -- Key Features

The new version of Interactive Multimedia-Getting Started has a number of
key features including:

* Thirteen examples of multimedia projects created by businessmen, creative
artists, professionals, students, teachers and novices. Each project can
be played, and then dissected, so users can both enjoy works created by
others and examine how they were created.

* Ten interactive tutorials on using Special Delivery 2.0, as well as a
trial version of the software that allows users to create and save an
unlimited number of short multimedia projects using the product's entire
feature set.

* A large collection of license-free clipmedia from the nation's foremost
publishers of backgrounds, photos, music and videos, including Artbeatsx,
Form & Functionx, IMC, Killer Tracksx, MediaComx, MediaRightsx,
PhotoDiscx, Prosonusx and Sense Interactive.

* Tryout and demo versions of the most popular tools for multimedia file
management, video editing and special effects, image enhancement, 3d
