Sigma Designs Ships RealMagic MPEG Version of Tsunami Media's Flash
Traffic: City Of Angels

All-Video Techno-Thriller Sets New Standard For MPEG Interactive Adventure

LAS VEGAS--November 14, 1994--Sigma Designs, Inc. (NASDAQ:SIGM), the
world's leading manufacturer of MPEG interactive multimedia products,
today announced the first CD-ROM-based, fully-interactive MPEG feature
film -- Flash Traffic: City of Angels from Tsunami Media -- is now
shipping. Created to take advantage of the interactive MPEG features
provided by Sigma Designs' RealMagic products, Flash Traffic sets the new
industry standard for multimedia user interaction. The MPEG version of
Flash Traffic will be distributed by Sigma Designs to computer retailers
worldwide. The new all-video, three CD-ROM techno-thriller will be
premiered at Comdex/Fall in Las Vegas.

"Flash Traffic represents the first of many new MPEG entertainment titles
which take complete advantage of RealMagic's awesome interactive
full-motion video capabilities," said Greg Jones, vice president of
marketing at Sigma Designs. "The MPEG version of Flash Traffic transforms
the title from a PC game into a truly interactive movie offering
unprecedented realism."

Flash Traffic was produced "Hollywood style" on a Los Angeles-based sound
stage. Action-packed scenes with actors playing the roles of characters in
the title were filmed and digitized into interactive full-motion video.
Digitized speech is featured for all characters, including a voice for the
player. An original musical score by Nation Rock Music enhances the game's
blockbuster movie production values.

Flash Traffic puts the player right in the middle of the action of a
complex case. The player assumes the role of a Los Angeles-based FBI
special agent tracking a group of international terrorists operating
within the Continental U.S. The player and a partner uncover a monstrous
plot to set off a catastrophic nuclear blast which can only be thwarted
through the interrogation of the surviving terrorists. Set in the
first-person, interrogation-like perspective, the player must use the
skill and wit of the team as well as top secret dossiers to track down and
halt the sinister international terrorists' plot. Three complete story
lines are carefully interwoven into Flash Traffic to provide branching
conversations, thus increasing the breadth of the game play and its
replayability.

Sigma Designs' family of RealMagic MPEG playback products is available now.
Based on the MPEG standard for compression, RealMagic products play back
up to 74 minutes of interactive, full-screen, 30 frames-per-second video
combined with CD-quality audio from a single CD-ROM. A new generation of
MPEG interactive entertainment titles, educational software, music videos,
feature films, business presentations, and corporate training applications
are now available for RealMagic.

The MPEG version of Flash Traffic is shipping now to major retailers
nationwide and a preview CD is being bundled with select RealMagic
products. Flash Traffic, a three CD-ROM product, can also be purchased
through Sigma Designs' RealMagic Software Catalog by calling 1-(800)
