Brains Software is pleased to announce the release of Asymptote 1.1.
Designed specifically for the demanding needs of scientists and engineers,
Asymptote produces exceptionally high-quality graphs with a minimum of
effort. Version 1.1 features expanded non-linear least squares fitting
which can fit arbitrary functions to your data. Asymptote`s fitting is
fully integrated with its scripting environment so you can easily read,
plot, and fit a sequence of the data files automatically. Other new
features in version 1.1 include the ability to read a stream of points
from a graph with the mouse and export the values to other applications.

For more information or a demo version, anonymous ftp to:
        ftp.std.com
    then cd to vendors/brains.

The Asymptote 1.1 demo is also available in the /sci directory
