Columns v1.1, Shareware Version, released 10/15/94
By: Brian Boese
(Replaces COL_SHAR.EXE)

Columns is a falling tile game similar in nature to Tetris, played in a
6x18 grid. Rather than filling up horizontal rows to erase lines, in
Columns you are required to put tiles of the same color or pattern in rows
of three or more.

Columns was written for a 386 or better with a VGA card or better. A
joystick and sound card are optional.

Columns features digitized music and sound effects. With just a few tools
readily available on the Internet, it is simple to use any of your own
digitized samples or MOD files.

The shareware version of Columns has been uploaded to ftp.uwp.edu in the
/pub/incoming/games directory, and should be soon moved to the
/pub/incoming/games/checked/tetris directory.

You can obtain a registered version of Columns by sending $10.00 and an
