AG GROUP TO HOST FREE NETWORK MANAGEMENT SEMINAR
Network Tool Vendor Hosting Series During MacWorld SF 1995

Walnut Creek, CA--November 7, 1994--The AG Group today announced that it
will be presenting a free network management seminar series on January 3,
1994, concurrent with the MacWorld San Francisco trade show. The series,
"Network Management Seminar '95", will feature a full day of classes
presented by industry leaders and popular trainers. The seminars are free,
but attendees must register in advance because of space limitations.

Seminar Summary

The Network Management Seminar '95 will cover issues relevant to network
managers, IS professionals, networking consultants and service providers.
The talks are designed to be practical and filled with information, tips
and methods that can be applied, not just considered. The day begins with
a talk by Garry Hornbuckle, Networking and Communications Product Manager
at Apple Computer, Inc. Garry will address Apple's plans for the Macintosh
as a participant on today's multiple-protocol internetworks. As the day
progresses, the presenters will address specific areas of maintaining,
troubleshooting, optimizing and configuring computer networks. Both the
morning and afternoon sessions will conclude with a lively Q&A period with
presenters from the previous sessions.

About the Speakers

Speakers for the seminar were selected based on their leadership positions
in the field of network management and their reputation for dynamic and
thorough presentations. The keynote speaker is Garry Hornbuckle,
Networking and Communications Product Manager at Apple Computer, Inc. He
is followed by Bill Hancock, Vice President of Engineering at Network-1.
Bill has designed more than 3,000 networks worldwide and is an
internationally renowned network and security consultant, prolific author
and dynamic speaker. Bill Alderson will be hosting a training
presentation. A Network Analysis pioneer, Bill has been solving complex
network problems for the past 15 years. Bill troubleshoots and architects
the world's largest networks, enjoying a 100% diagnosis success rate in
five days or less and has taught over 5500 engineers in 19 countries
network protocol analysis. Mahboud Zabetian will discuss LAN/WAN
management issues using Skyline/Satellite, new products from The AG Group,
Inc. Mr. Zabetian is a well-known developer who has received accolades for
his interface design work and development of the award-winning protocol
analyzer EtherPeek. Kurt VanderSluis will do an AppleTalk training
session. Kurt has delivered AppleTalk training to over 2,000 network
managers in public seminars since 1987 and has taught private classes at
some of the largest Macintosh network sites in the world. He is author of
"Troubleshooting Macintosh Networks" (M&T Books) and has contributed over
three dozen articles to MacUser Magazine. Pace Bonner will talk about
AppleShare and Network Security. Mr. Bonner was a member of Apple's System
7 team and has worked extensively with AppleShare and network security.
Finally, Bill Woodcock and Chuck Shotton will address issues pertaining to
Macs, the Internet and the Worldwide Web. Both are leading authorities.
Mr. Woodcock writes a regular column in the Connections Journal and
Network World and Mr. Shotton has developed software which allows a
Macintosh to act as a web server.

The AG Group Network Management Seminar '95 will take place at the ANA
Hotel San Francisco, 50 Third Street, San Francisco, California 94103. The
seminar is free of charge. However, registration in advance is mandatory
as space is limited.
