TWO BBSCON Signs Ziff-Davis, Galacticomm, and Hayes as Co-Sponsors

The new European sister-show to the great ONE BBSCON online industry trade
show held in the U.S. each year kicks off its inaugural conference
February 8-11, 1995, at the Swissotel in Dusseldorf, Germany. Between
2,000 and 3,000 attendees are expected, according to Trans World Online
CEO Gerald Meier.

"Ziff-Davis will sponsor a major new Shareware Awards Competition,
Galacticomm will host the gala dinner event, and Dennis C. Hayes will give
a speech on the future of worldwide telecommunications," said Meier. "In
addition to the previously-announced keynote speech by John C. Dvorak, the
'Best BBS of the Year 1994' awards sponsored by Vogel Verlag (publisher of
the German monthlies TeleCom and CHIP), and speeches by industry
luminaries such as Jack Rickard of Boardwatch, Esther Dyson and Jerry
Michalski of Release 1.0, Robert Michnick of Microsoft's MARVEL project,
and Klaus Langner of ELSA [the leading German modem manufacturer], TWO
BBSCON is shaping up to be the event of the century for telecomm
professionals, sysops, and cybervisionaries worldwide."

Ziff-Davis International Media Group will sponsor the first major European
shareware awards at TWO BBSCON, following its successful sponsorship of
shareware competitions at ONE BBSCON in the United States. "Sponsoring
this event is a natural step in the development of our online services
business in Europe," said Heather Killen, Director of European Online
Services for Ziff-Davis. "Our goal is to provide shareware authors here
with the same distribution opportunities as are available through our
growing online business in the U.S."

Ziff-Davis International Media Group is developing online services on
CompuServe, Minitel, and Datex-J, and publishes PC Magazine, PC Direct,
and Computer Life in the U.K., PC Expert and PC Direct in France, and PC
Professionnell, PC Direkt, and Familie PC in Germany, with a combined
circulation well in excess of half a million copies each month.
"Ziff-Davis will bring the full strength of our European computer
publications to bear on making the conference and the awards a resounding
success," noted Ms. Killen.

"Galacticomm welcomes this opportunity to meet face-to-face with our many
European customers using The Major BBS," said Scott Brinker, Galacticomm's
President and CEO. "We look forward to building upon our relationships
with new and existing European dealers and distributors. Now that Europe's
long recession is over, the European telecomm market is poised to
explode."

"Building on the success of ONE BBSCON in the United States, Hayes is very
pleased to be co-sponsoring the European TWO BBSCON," said Hayes President
and Founder Dennis C. Hayes. "Hayes is at the leading edge of
communications technologies such as ISDN, high-speed modems, and
simultaneous voice and data, and we find that Sysops are usually the early
adapters of these new technologies. Supporting events such as TWO BBSCON
enables us to continue our commitment to the BBS community," he added.

TWO BBSCON, modeled upon the wildly successful Bulletin Board Systems
conference sponsored annually by Online Networking Expositions, Inc., will
also host hands-on product exhibits and training seminars by many
companies, including BAUSCH Datacom, Connect Service Riedlbauer, CPV
Stollmann, Durand Communications, ELSA, Equinox Systems, Galacticomm,
GTEK, Hayes Microcomputer Products, MediaHouse Software, Microsoft
Corporation, Netmanage, Online Store, Telecity, TeleGrafix Communications,
Telelink, Telesoft and Vogel Verlag. In addition to John C. Dvorak, Dennis
C. Hayes, Jack Rickard, Esther Dyson, Jerry Michalski, Robert Michnick,
and Klaus Langner, featured speakers will include famed telecomm author
Nick Anis, Alan Bechtold of Sysop News and Cyberworld Report, Jim Bergman
of TeleGrafix, David Chaum of Digicash, Andre Durand of Durand
Communications, Seth Hamilton of MediaHouse, Thomas Jannot of Vogel
Verlag, Gunter Jany of Online Store, famed modem designer Dr. Gottfried
Neuhaus, Richard Paquette of BBS Magazine, Julian Riedlbauer of Connect
Service Riedlbauer, Horst Schon of Telesoft, Jorg Steinhauser of BAUSCH,
Tim Stryker of Galacticomm, Graham Taylor of Telelink, Mark Trimue of
Equinox Systems, and Dieter Wolf of CPV Stollmann.
