Willow Bend Communications, Inc. based in Dallas, TX , announces the
release of it's Windows based alternate delivery software package,
Alternate Delivery Manager.

Alternate Delivery Manager, or ADM, is an industry tested software package
that automates and integrates most areas of any alternate delivery or
distribution marketing operation. It is fully able to utilize one's
existing data with only minor structure modifications and logic
conversion, and has the built in ability to import and post data from
outside list sources.

The Warehouse module prints carrier delivery lists. These can be
constructed from any number of packages with their associated criteria.
For example, on a single delivery day, there may be three packages going
out; one to only non-subscribers of the newspaper, one to every household
(saturation), and one to only those addresses within a specific
demographic region. ADM prints the list placing the appropriate piece
names beside the corresponding address, in single or two column mode and
in alphanumeric order. This module also is able to track warehouse orders
and deliveries, assign and deassign carriers to routes, and print
warehouse grouping reports with route color codes to help organize the
distribution process.

ADM's pay module is fully integrated with the printing of delivery lists,
keeping track of which carrier did which routes, how many deliveries were
on the route (even breaking it down by household type (apt, sf, bus),
allowing for separate rates to be paid), and which packages were delivered
along with their rates if different. It greatly simplifies the process of
calculating carrier pay, and will print the checks for carriers and
packagers, as well as 1099s at the end of the year.

Saving the best for last, ADM has taken distribution marketing to new
heights by transforming the raw data into beautiful digitized maps. This
opens the doors for an innumerable amount of possibilities, allowing the
user to actually see their delivery area from any perspective they choose.
One can single out only the deliverable homes within a given radius of a
prospective client's business and tell them right away how many deliveries
they can expect. With ADM, you also have the ability to define and modify
route designations in minutes, and then automatically calculate the
mileage of the route and the necessary rate per delivery to give the
carrier the hourly wage that the user designates. It's an invaluable tool,
and has the potential for saving much unnecessary expense.

Willow Bend systems are currently in use by at least 25 news papers and
distribution marketing companies around the country, including Tampa, FL,
Richmond, VA, Pittsburgh, PA, San Diego, CA, and San Antonio, TX. The
results have been good, with new installations in the works.
