The New Upgrade Program

Micro Express has recently added a new profit center focusing on offering
low-cost upgrades to corporate "Business Partners" and individuals seeking
to upgrade older systems to more modern technology. This program which is
thought to be the first of its kind in the PC market, offers users of PCs
originally built by "any" manufacturer the chance to upgrade to DX2-66 or
Pentium technology in the most cost-effective and efficient manner
possible. For larger corporate customers, Micro Express sends an upgrade
specialist to the customer's site to do the upgrades with a minimum of
disruption to the customer's operation. For individuals, Micro Express
will even supply a shipping carton so that the customer can easily ship
the system back to the factory for upgrading. Upgrades can include
anything from a new motherboard or a new CPU all the way to a complete
sophisticated multimedia system or a network upgrade.

Products...

Micro Express manufactures personal computers based on all popular
microprocessors made by such companies as Intel, Cyrix and Advanced Micro
Devices. The company makes computers in desktop, minitower, tower,
portable and notebook configurations.

The primary families of desktop, minitower and tower PCs are the MicroFLEX,
and ME 486-VE Both of these families are upgradable.

MicroFLEX

MicroFLEX is Micro Express' all-purpose product line It is widely
upgradable, taking microprocessors from just about all manufacturers,
including both 486 and Pentium types. In addition, it comes with either
PCI or VESA local bus technology. Designed for corporate use, this
high-quality system matches the best ISA-bus computers on the market at a
very competitive price. When the application is Multimedia, MicroFLEX PCs
can be ordered with a complete array of multimedia features, including
CD-ROM drives, sound cards, speakers, microphones, etc. MicroFLEX systems
come either in desktop, minitower or tower configurations.

ME 486-VE

When multi-user systems are required, the upgradable ME 486-VE family steps
up. These PCs offer both VESA local bus and EISA-bus capability. The ME
486-VE is offered in several models, spanning the 486DX and Pentium
families of microprocessors. The versions of this PC that contain either

Service...

All Micro Express computers are burned in for 72 hours to eliminate early
failures and assure high-quality, long-life operation. If something should
go wrong the company recognizes the importance of quick turnaround on
repairs. Thus, Micro Express has set up a unique 24-hour turnaround
system. If a customer calls with a problem, the problem is analyzed by a
technician at the factory. If the problem is a circuit board, a new board
is rushed to the customer that day. The customer merely returns the
defective board to the factory, installs the new board and is up and
running the next day. If the customer does not wish to replace the board
himself, the computer can be sent back to the factory for immediate
repair. Micro Express pays the shipping both ways for the first four
months of the warranty and thereafter pays return shipping only.

All Micro Express computers come with a full 30-day moneyback
no-questions-asked guarantee. All of the desktop families of PCs also have
a 2-year parts and labor warranty All other portables and notebooks have a
15-month parts and labor warranty.

An "800" number is available for unlimited free customer support. With
"Always," technical support is offered 24-hours a day, 7-days a week.
Another technical support innovation that is always available is Automated
FAX-back, the service that provides technical manuals and other
information instantly through your FAX machine.
