Worlds Largest Computer Exposition; Target of Komando Takeover

Kim Komando Takes Control of COMDEX-TV on The Visitel Network

Scottsdale, Arizona, October 25, 1994 -- Comdex was never like this! TV,
radio, author and America Online personality Kim Komando is expected to
single-handedly turn COMDEX upside down and shake out every single pocket
protector in Las Vegas. Kim will be the host of COMDEX TV on the Visitel
Network for the nation's largest computer trade show scheduled for
November 14 -18, 1994.

The Visitel Network will carry Kim's show around the clock

Over 200,000 people are expected to attend and carry more than $70 billion
in spending power with them to COMDEX. Bringing her unique style and
off-the-wall humor, wit and spontaneity to this multi-million dollar
technological extravaganza; Kim Komando will be broadcasting live
interviews and providing commentary from the convention floor and from
every corporate sponsored party she can crash. The Visitel network will
carry Kim's interviews and uniquely personal perceptions of this year's
Comdex around the clock on televisions throughout every convention hall,
in every hotel room, casino, and hospitality suite, as well as in bus
stations, coffee shops, at back yard Bar-B-Qs and anywhere else a TV set
can be found. Says Kim of the upcoming event, "I've got this sort of
techno-nerd friend whose been busy in his garage building a network
jamming device. I'll pretty much "komand" the air waves, and will
broadcast my show across the Broad Band. This ought to skew the ol'
Nielson Ratings."

Kim Komando is well known to the computer world through her menu option
"The Komputer Klinic featuring Kim Komando" on the national service
America Online, which has over one million subscribers. Her delightful
ability to bring the most technical computer question back to earth and
inject a bit of humor, just when we're about ready to start pulling our
hair out, has endeared her to thousands of loyal fans. Kim is the focus of
the Komputer Tutor infomercial aired throughout the U.S. and other
countries on network and cable stations in which her computer-education
video learning series is marketed. Ms. Komando is the author of the Irwin
Publishing/Times Mirror book entitled "401 Great Letters," now in its
fourth printing after just one year with major retail booksellers
throughout the nation. Hundreds of thousands of people have been
introduced to computers through Kim's weekly syndicated newspaper columns
and her top-rated radio talk show. Kim Komando appears regularly on TV
news segments, America West Airlines Magazine and in-flight videos, and
has been interviewed in The New York Times, Parade Magazine, Mobile Office
Computing, Home Office Computing, Entrepreneur, PC Computing, PC World and
many other national publications and talk shows.

computer instruction programs, and software titles continues to grow.
