A single-screen view of an outstanding ticket, for example, shows: who
called, from where, who took the call, when they took it, the nature of
the problem, the priority, status, review date, time spent with the user,
who was assigned to the problem, who resolved the problem, when it was
resolved and the solution. The ticket even links to an external memo file
for additional notes.

Problems and solutions may be categorized and searched, allowing
technicians to reuse and share solutions, eliminating support
redundancies. A built-in automatic timer attaches duration data to each
ticket, allowing easy by-the- minute billing or resolution analysis.

Another feature liked by technicians is "no typing required" new ticket
entry. Pop-up calendars and customizable lists allow technicians to simply
"point & shoot." User Call Mode offers quick reception of calls via
partial-name matching and phone number searches.

HelpTrac 3.0 doesn't skimp on security, either, offering password
protection and file encryption.
