TRW Safety Systems Develops Sophisticated Nation-Wide Forms Workflow System
To Automate Nuclear Waste Management System

Delrina FormFlow Used as Vital Component in Environmental Waste Management
System

GOVCOM, Booth 1454 WASHINGTON, DC -- October 11, 1994 -- TRW Environmentat
Safety Systems, a major environmental contractor has jumped headfirst onto
the information superhighway by developing a forms workflow application
that help automate nuclear waste management process across the country,
using Delrina FormFlow.

Delrina FormFlow allows users to build forms applications that link to
their existing database and messaging infrastructures and provides a
smooth and easy transition towards automating the use and flow of forms
and data within an organization.

Known as the Yucca Mountain Project, the waste management project spans the
United States from Washington, DC to Las Vegas, Nevada, involving more
than nine subcontractors and has become one of the technological
challenges of the century. In response to the requirements of the project
TRW has embarked on an aggressive program to consolidate, standardize, and
automate the forms and forms related workflow processing in use throughout
the project. Automating and improving the flow of sensitive information
was seen as an essential component of successfully implementing the
nuclear waste management program according to Martin Hunt, Forms Manager
at TRW in Vienna, Virginia.

The Project was initiated when Congress directed the Department of Energy
to develop a system to manage and dispose of spent nuclear fuel and
radioactive waste. In response to this mandate, the DOE has established
the Office of Civilian Radioactive Waste Management System (CRWMS). TRW
was selected as the Management and Operating contractor for the project
and is responsible for systems design development, technical direction,
management and operation of the program.

Sophisticated Automated Forms System Designed

Utilizing Delrina's FormFlow technology, TRW has developed an integrated
Automated Forms System (AFS) which currently encompasses over 376 forms
including laboratory and geological reporting forms as well as standard
purchase orders and performance appraisals. The AFS is growing by five or
more forms per week and has over 500 users with a projected 1,500 users.

"Users can select any form through a custom menuing system, fill-in the
form on their PC, and the information is automatically saved in a standard
dBASE database," says Hunt. "Once the form is filled in it can be routed
via e-mail anywhere in the country. Given that forms had to be transferred
over such wide areas tight e-mail integration and security features were
essential requirements for us. FormFlow does a great job in both these
areas."

For example, when a document such as a laboratory report is distributed it
often goes through a sequential routing process for review and concurrence
to numerous users in disparate locations. Each user adds his comments to
the document and signs it electronically. Delrina FormFlow's electronic
signature with encription provides data validation and authentication to
ensure only valid users edit and sign documents. TRW also customized the
Tracking Application included with Delrina FormFlow to enable users to
track forms as they are routed across the country.

According to Hunt the obvious benefits to the DOE are in the thousands of
dollars saved in printing and maintaining inventories of paper forms but
the real benefits are to be found in improved productivity and the
accurate reporting of data, vital to the success of the project.
"FormFlow+s application development features have allowed us to tailor our
forms applications to give our users what they need to easily fill in and
route forms, and reduce errors," says Hunt. "We+ve built in a lot of
features that make it easy for a user to learn and use."

Delrina+s electronic forms strategy is to help public and private
organizations including the Federal Government build upon existing
technology investments by allowing: Windows, Macintosh, UNIX and DOS
hardware; the most popular e-mail systems; the most popular desktop/SQL
database; and enterprise information sharing platforms, such as Lotus
Notes and Microsoft Exchange; to be combined in forms-based applications.
With the rapid adoption of distributed LAN-based computing, more
organizations are seeking a "soup to nuts" forms workflow offering like
Delrina+s. While the electronic forms market replacing paper forms is
projected to grow to $160 million by 1996, the workflow market which
includes forms routing is expected to be much more significant.

Delrina Corp. (TSE:DC, NASDAQ: DENAF) develops, markets and supports
PC-based software products and services for the PC fax and data
communications, electronic forms processing and consumer content markets.
Since its founding in 1988, Delrina has shipped more than 500,000 copies
of its forms software. Delrina's flagship FormFlow software is also
marketed by AT&T Global Information Solutions as Liberty. Delrina employs
more than 550 people with headquarters in Toronto, Canada and office in
San Jose, CA; Washington, DC; Kirkland, WA; the United Kingdom; France;
and Germany. Delrina can be contacted at 1-800-268-6082 or at (703)
