Apple's eWorld Launches eWorld of Work--A Comprehensive Online Career
Information Service

CUPERTINO, Calif.--October 18, 1994--If you are a business professional
looking for a job, changing career direction or working independently,
there's plenty of practical advice and opportunities to connect with
others like yourself through the new eWorld of Work available on Apple
Computer, Inc.'s eWorld global online service.

eWorld of Work offers subscribers information and connections to four
publishers: Lee Hecht Harrison, one of the largest out placement and
career development consulting firms in the U.S.; Adia Services, Inc., the
world's second largest temporary and full-time placement company; Working
Solo, award-winning resources for independent entrepreneurs; and Mind
Garden, self-help psychological services.

Within the next few months, eWorld plans to add additional career
assessment and management and job lead services to the rich array of

Search with Lee Hecht Harrison allows users to speed their job search by
communicating with others, exchanging job search tips and information on
possible employers in its Talk About Jobs Discussion Board and connecting
with other job searchers. Subscribers can post their resume in a folder
available for employers to scan.

If subscribers are interested in a job as a temporary employee in a variety
of industries, Adia's Temporary World of Work offers an opportunity to get
work almost immediately by completing an Adia work application online.
Employers can use the service to find employees with specific skills.
Additionally, Adia offers subscribers opportunities to chat online with
other people who have worked as a temporary employee or hired temporary
employees, participate in online events presented by employment industry
experts and get access to timely data about work statistics and the
business environment.

For those creating their own business environment, there's Working Solo,
produced by Terri Lonier, author of the award-winning book, Working Solo,
(tm) and her co-host Fred Showker, an independent entrepreneur and graphic

All subscribers in the U.S. and Canada can take advantage of eWorld's free
10-hour trial until Feb. 15. In addition, the regular monthly fee is
waived for new subscribers in all countries during the first month of
usage. Afterwards, the monthly fee is $8.95 everywhere. In the U.S. and
Canada each subsequent hour of usage costs $4.95. In other countries,
subscribers receive a free two-hour trial, pay $7.95 for each of the next
two hours and then pay $12.90 for each subsequent hour. There is no extra
charge for the use of the Internet mail gateway or for 9600 baud access.
