AGGRESSIVE DCA PROGRAM HELPS RESELLERS TAP EXPLOSIVE REMOTE COMMUNICATIONS

October 31, 1994 -- ALPHARETTA, Ca. -- DCA today announced the Remote
Access Masters Program (RAMP) -- an aggressive reseller program to take
advantage of the explosive remote access market by offering a wide range
of services, including technical and sales training programs,
comprehensive marketing support, and guaranteed profit points based on
volume.

A unique aspect of the RAMP program is dial-in demonstration capabilities,
offering resellers access to the same DCA network as the company's sales
force for customer demonstrations of several DCA products including the
RLN, CrossTalk and Irma products.

"Providing our RAMP members with access to the same DCA network as our
sales force, is something we have never offered before," said Jeff
Bergstrom, DCA's VAR marketing manager, Remote Access Division. "This
clearly shows that we consider our resellers an extension of our sales
support team."

In-depth technical and sales training programs are also key benefits of the
RAMP program. A toll-free "hot line" is provided for pre-sale and
post-sale support, access to sales engineers for additional assistance in
the pre-sale environment and weekly updates on product development, via
FAX. "The difference between DCA's RAMP program and other reseller
programs is the training and advanced engineering support staff that is
behind their products," explained Mark Chambers, Information Technology
Croup Manager at Olympia USA. "DCA educates their VARs to a highly
technical level, placing them a step above the others."

"DCA's approach to training its RAMP members is great," said Jack Hoffman,

classroom environment. A complete server and workstation set-up is
available for every two students, allowing members to get the most out of
the technical training."

Other RAMP program benefits include guaranteed profit points. Resellers
receive a four percent rebate on yearly sales volumes up to $80,000, a six
percent rebate on sales volumes ranging from $80,000 to $100,000, and an
eight percent rebate for sales volumes exceeding $100,000.

"We're providing our resellers with the best of both worlds," said Jack
Lane, DCA's vice president of distribution and channel development.
"First, we offer superior products our users are demanding. Then, we're
offering cash incentives to resellers for supplying those products to
their customers."

"The RAMP program positions our reseller partners with a financial
advantage over other resellers in the marketplace," said Jeff Bergstrom.
"The concept is simple: the more they sell, the greater profit points they
will enjoy. There's no hidden threshold the resellers have to cross before
they can begin to reap the benefits of RAMP. They will qualify for the
base incentives beginning with the first system they sell."

DCA's RAMF program also supports resellers through extensive marketing
efforts, including advertising, trade show participation, collateral sales
materials, lead referrals and joint sales presentations.

Scheduled RAMP training sessions are held alternately at DCA's San Jose and
Alpharetta office locations.

Node (RLN) version 3.0, provides users of laptop, notebook, portable and
