SYSTEM ESSENTIALS ANNOUNCES NEW SOFTWARE PROGRAM FOR WINDOWS

St. Louis, MO (September 12, 1994) - System Essentials, Inc. announced
today the introduction of CalcPac, a powerful, yet easy-to-use calculator
program for users of Microsoft Windows.

"Our goal was not only to create a powerful set of calculators that are
easy to use, but to create a desktop utility many users instantly know how
to use," said Richard McFall, CalcPac Marketing Manager. "We developed
CalcPac to operate like popular desktop and handheld calculators while
packing in additional features for advanced users, including graphics and
programmability."

CalcPac consists of four calculators: CalcPac Business, CalcPac Scientific,
CalcPac Conversions and CalcPac Tape Calculator. CalcPac Business operates
like the BA-II Executive Business Analyst from Texas Instruments. CalcPac
Scientific operates like the TI-36X and has over 160 functions. CalcPac
Conversions is a straightforward conversions calculator performing over
2000 conversions from 23 categories. CalcPac Tape Calculator is
constructed to operate like a standard desktop adding machine.

"Many first-time users could operate the calculators immediately. Other new
users really liked the optional dialog box interface," said McFall.
"However, CalcPac's ease of use does not limit its capabilities. CalcPac
has many powerful features that separate it from handheld calculators and
other products on the market. For example, CalcPac Scientific and CalcPac
Business are programmable, have tapes and can generate graphs of data sets
and loan payments in multiple presentation styles."

Bruce Brower, a financial analyst, uses CalcPac to make business decisions.
"The operation of CalcPac was so familiar that I was able to put it to use
immediately. My handheld calculator stays in my briefcase when I'm at the
office because CalcPac's additional features save me time--a little
advantage I value highly."

"CalcPac has some powerful features, such as the ability to write business
and scientific programs by having the calculator learn keystrokes. The
ability to save and replay programs really saves time on complicated or
repetitive calculations. Graphs can even be saved on disk or the Clipboard
for inclusion in other applications," said Tony Wyatt, a beta tester.

Linda Gallagher, Executive Director of TechCom Plus, a technical writing
firm, uses CalcPac to keep track of client project hours. "With CalcPac, I
can quickly reload a tape, make changes, print it and then save the tape
for later use. CalcPac automatically updates the entire tape when changes
are made. The notes field for each entry allows me to attach a description
to each entry," said Gallagher.

CalcPac is available NOW for Microsoft Windows. Suggested retail price is
$59.95. CalcPac is introductory priced at $29.95 until December 31, 1994.
