San Jose, Calif. - October 13, 1994 -- Accolade's lovable Bubsy Bobcat
returns in an all-new interactive cartoon video game, Bubsy II. Now
available for the Sega Genesis and in November for the Super Nintendo
entertainment systems, Bubsy II follows Bubsy's first hit, Claws
Encounters of the Furred Kind. Bubsy was heralded by industry sources as
one of 1993's best video games and winner of several honors including the
Parents' Choice Award; Electronic Games' Video Game of the Year; and VCR
News & Reviews Top Video Game. A Bubsy II strategy game guide will be
available beginning in October from Brady Publishing, a division of
Paramount.

The Bubsy II Story

As the story begins, insatiably selfish swine, Oinker P. Hamm, and
scientific genius, Dr. U Reality, have struck up a partnership to create
the ultimate amusement park - the Amazatorium - an amazing world where
guests can experience all the wonders of the real world through the
miracle of simulated reality...or so it seems. In actuality, Hamm and his
barnyard baddies have managed to hog all of history for themselves and are
charging $$ the world to come and see it! (A clear case of good bacon gone
bad!)

To make matters worse, Bubsy's annoying niece Terri and nephew Terry, the
Bubsy twins, have managed to get themselves lost inside the Amazatorium.
What's a bobcat to do? Bubsy must brave five different worlds (playable in
four different difficulty modes), three mini-games and a whole herd of
nasty Hamm henchmen to save the Bubsy twins and civilization. All in all,
players can experience up to 30 different game levels throughout the Bubsy
adventure.

The Interactive Cartoon Game

Bubsy's on-screen animation has been enhanced bringing double the fun from
the first version. Bubsy is constantly on the go bouncing, pouncing,
running up walls and running down enemies with everything from Smart Bombs
to the exciting new Nerf Ballzooka action toy. In addition, new power-ups,
new toys and new moves have our hero using lots of new treasures including
a Portable Hole (your ticket to any world anytime), a Diving Suit (Bobcats
HATE to get wet!), and Trading Cards. Bubsy must find all the big red
marbles in each world in order to meet Oinker P. Hamm and find out if
Bubsy will save the world.

Should Bubsy enter the East Wing or West Wing of the Amazatorium? Each
direction leads to a whole new game. Which way to the world of the
Egyptian Tomb? What mini-game do I play next, Frogapult, Liquid Lunacy or
Armadillo Drop? And through all of this, Bubsy just won't shut up. All-new
wise cracks and sound effects continue to make Bubsy one of the mouthiest
characters around.

"Just because I have the most awesome animated adventure around, people say
that I have an attitude," says Bubsy. "I'm the most modest superstar on
four feet."
