ACCOLADE ANNOUNCES BUBSY II FOR NINTENDO GAME BOY AND SUPER GAME BOY

Category: Interactive Cartoon
Pricing and Availability: Game Boy and Super Game Boy $24.95; Dec

San Jose, Calif.-- September 27, 1994 -- Accolade's most lovable cat, Bubsy
Bobcat, jumps to Nintendo's Game Boy and Super Game Boy with an all-new
interactive cartoon gaming adventure, Bubsy II. The product is based on
the eagerly anticipated release of Bubsy II for the Super Nintendo and
Sega Genesis entertainment systems and will contain all the same fun and
zany game actions. Bubsy II for the Nintendo Game Boy is scheduled to
release in December and will carry a suggested retail price of $24.95.

Bubsy II follows the original hit, Bubsy in: Claws Encounters of the Furred
Kin P, heralded by industry sources as one of 1993's best video games. It
was the winner of several honors including the Parents' Choice Award;
Electronic Games' Video Game of the Year, and VCR News & Reviews Top Video
Game.

In Bubsy II, the Bubster is up against capitalist boar Oinker P. Hamm who's
created the ultimate amusement park for his own personal gain. In the
Amazatorium guests can experience all the wonders of the real world
through the miracle of simulated reality...or so it seems. In actuality,
Hamm and his group of barnyard baddies have managed to hog all of history
for themselves and are charging the world to come and see it. Players are
challenged to find their way to the final showdown and save the world!

The Game Boy version of Bubsy II features three different worlds, two
mini-games (Frogapult and Armadillo Drop) and a whole herd of nasty Hamm
henchmen. The Amazatorium is a three story building with each floor being
a full and complete game. In Grand Tour mode, players have access to all
floors, but they must beat the boss at the end of each floor before moving
to the next. In all, players can experience up to nine different game
levels throughout the Bubsy adventure.

Bubsy II is equipped with new toys and a variety of new moves that
constantly have him bouncing and pouncing, and running up walls and
running down enemies. Bubsy has new fun-to-use treasures including the new
Nerf Ballzooka action toy, and a Portable Hole that allows Bubsy to roam
through any level any time.

When reached for comment, Bubsy expressed his enthusiasm for the Nintendo
Game Boy. "I always wanted to be on the small screen. Now, I've got my
chance and boy, they just keep getting smaller and smaller."
