ARTISOFT HONORED AS LEADING NETWORK INTERFACE CARD VENDOR

Resellers Pick Adapter Best Sellers in VARBusiness Survey

(TUCSON, AZ - Sept. 27, 1994) - Artisoft, Inc. announced today that it has
been named as one of two leading network interface card (NIC) vendors in
VARsusiness' September 1994 Product Reports survey. Artisoft and its Eagle
Technology business unit were chosen along with 3Com Corporation as the
top NIC vendors. The survey was based on such product and business
features as technical support, performance, reliability, compatibility and
availability. Others in the survey included Standard Microsystems
Corporation, Intel Corporation and IBM Corporation.

"This recognition is confirmation that our products have the competitive
features and quality that resellers are looking for in today's NIC market.
We back up our total software and hardware networking approach with
excellent support services, which was an area in which we excelled in this
survey," commented Artisoft Vice President of Hardware Products and
General Manager of Eagle Technology Vittal Srimushnam. "We consider the
honor to be especially gratifying coming from one of the industry's
leading reseller publications."

Artisoft out-featured its four competitors in the areas of technical
support, replacement speed and warranty options. NIC brands rated in the
survey were selected on the basis of market share and sales to value-added
resellers, who were asked to rate the features of their best-selling
products.

high-performance 16-bit ISA and 32-bit EISA Ethernet adapter cards that
