TWINHEAD RELEASES PENTIUM PROCESSOR-BASED MULTIMEDIA NOTEBOOK WITH
INTEGRATED CD-ROM DRIVE LITHIUM POWER

New York, NY; Twinhead Corporation, at the annual PC Expo exhibition being
held here, announced that it has commenced volume shipments of its newest
generation notebook computer system. The Slimnote 8 series of notebooks
are based on Intel Corporation's newest Pentium microprocessor and feature
high resolution screens, integrated stereo audio and a built-in CD-ROM
drive.

Slimnote 8 features an integrated dual-speed CD-ROM drive situated in the
front center of the computer and can be replaced with either a 1.44Mb
floppy disk drive or a second battery. Combined with its integrated stereo
audio capabilities, the Slimnote functions as 2 full standalone portable
multimedia creation and presentation device. The standard 10.4" diagonal
TFT Active Matrix LCD display can display more than 65,000 colors and is
driven by a 32-bit graphics controller situated on the PCI bus for
breakneck performance. The LCD is also capable of displaying at a
resolution of 800 x 600. Simultaneous display on a capable monitor is also
supported, as are resolutions of up to 1280 x 1024 on a capable external
VGA monitor. For full motion video, an optional MPEG module is available.

"Our Slimnote 8 will facilitate full multimedia presentations and continue
the trend of notebooks fully replacing desktop systems," says Doug Moglin,
Twinhead's Director of Marketing. "The new Pentium processor designed
specifically for notebooks delivers outstanding performance, without
sacrificing battery life," he continues.

A standard feature of Slimnote 8 is Twinhead's TwinTouch pointing device. A
2" x 3" touch-sensitive pad located below the keyboard allows the user to
control the mouse pointer simply by using his or her finger. TwinTouch is
inherently more reliable than the trackballs found on most notebooks and
requires no periodic maintenance.

Power for the Slimnote 8 is provided from a via a lithium ion battery. A
second lithium ion battery can be installed in place of the CD-ROM drive.
The second battery will double they system's battery life.

An IRDA/ASK compliant infra-red port is located on the rear of the machine,
allowing wireless printing and file sharing.

Expansion is provided through an optional $199 port replicator, called an
I/O Slice. The I/O Slice duplicates all the port on the Slimnote and adds
SCSI, game, MIDI, and two more PCMCIA slots. A full docking station with
ISA slots and a fast charger is also available. The I/O Slice attaches to
the docking station, providing a cost effective expansion system that
doesn't require duplicate investment by the end-user.

Twinhead will support the Slimnote 8 through its ExpressCare48 expedited
service program. Components of this program include 48 hour turnaround on
repairs, lifetime toll free technical support and BBS access.

Twinhead Corporation is North American sales and Marketing of
privately-held Twinhead International Corporation of Taiwan. Entering
