INTEL PROSHARE VIDEO SYSTEM 200 CONNECTS PERSONAL COMPUTERS TO ROOM
VIDEOCONFERENCING SYSTEMS

Free Upgrade to All Current Users

HILLSBORO, Ore., April 13, 1995 -- Intel Corporation today announced a free
software upgrade to its ProShare Video System 200 for interoperability
with other brands of videoconferencing systems compliant with the H.320
international communications standard. With this upgrade, ProShare users
can connect with more room and desktop conferencing systems than any other
product on the market. The ProShare Video System 200 is by far the lowest
priced desktop videoconferencing system priced as low as $999.

"We are committed to giving ProShare customers the widest set of
conferencing functionality and interoperability on the market," said
Patrick Gelsinger, vice president and general manager of Intel' s Personal
Conferencing Division.

The ProShare Video System 200 is a set of two computer boards, a camera and
microphone/earphone that enables a PC to conduct video and data
conferences. The ProShare Video System 200, including the new H.320
enhancement, is available at a suggested price of $999 when purchased with
ISDN service from Bell Atlantic, Ameritech, NYNEX, Pacific Bell, BellSouth
or GTE, together with long distance service from AT&T or U.S. Sprint.

The new H.320 enhancement lets ProShare Video System 200 users conduct
video and audio conferences with multiple users at the same time. Intel's
ProShare Video System 200 is certified to connect with leading H.320
multipoint bridging services, such as those available from AT&T, U.S.
Sprint, and ITC. To conduct a multipoint video and audio conference, users
simply call a multipoint bridging service and the bridge displays whomever
is speaking.

Intel said it plans to incorporate additional communication standards and
specifications into the ProShare personal conferencing family, such as
T.120 for interoperable data conferencing, the Personal Conferencing
Specification for additional interoperable capabilities, and Digital SVD
for digital simultaneous voice and data conferencing over a single,
standard phone line. "The new H.320 upgrade to ProShare Video System 200
is a result of Intel's continuing commitment to international standards
and specifications," added Patrick Gelsinger. "Within the next year, we
expect to have the most complete and one of the earliest conferencing
solutions compliant with the T.120 standard for interoperable data
conferencing."
