PARAMOUNT PICTURES MM SERIES II MULTIMEDIA SPEAKERS TO SHIP IN JULY

Upgraded Line Features Higher-Power Input Switching and New Woofers For
Multimedia Desktop, Video Game and Personal Audio Systems

June 20, 1995 -- (PC EXPO, NEW YORK) -- HTP International (NASDAQ: HTPI), a
leading manufacturer of home theater systems, recently upgraded two models
of its extensive new line of Paramount Pictures multimedia loudspeaker
systems. The upgraded "Series II" speakers will begin shipping in July,
1995.

"The substantial amplifier and woofer upgrades have significantly improved
the utility and overall performance to an already great line of multimedia
speakers," said Jerry Adamo, HTP president. "With the 67 percent increase
in power (from 30W to 50W) and addition of input switching, microphone
mixing and brand new woofer designs, users will experience true 'hi-fi'
sound for all their multimedia needs, from video games and personal audio,
to home theater and complete multimedia presentations."

As the exclusive worldwide licensee of selected audio/video products for
Paramount Pictures, HTP has married its expertise in the design and
manufacture of high-fidelity loudspeakers and home theater systems with
Paramount's world-class reputation and instantly recognizable logo to
produce the highest quality multimedia loudspeaker systems currently
available.

All of the speakers in the MM Series II are hand-crafted with precision
machined enclosures, hand-wired crossover networks, video-shielded drivers
and, in most cases, integrated power amplifiers. "With high-resolution
sound and sleek styling, these speakers take multimedia to a new level. In
addition, they provide a sensational way to upgrade the sound of a
television set or portable CD player and are the only line ready today for
the soon-to-come transition of multimedia computers and video games into
full-blown home theater applications," stated Adamo.

The upgraded versions of the multimedia speaker line will include the
MM-2.5 Series II and the MM-3 Series II. The MM-2.5 Series II (MSRP:
$249.00 a pair) is a powered two-way bookshelf speaker system with a
continuous power amplifier output of 50 watts RMS (25Wx2), frequency
response of 70 Hz to 18 kHz, 5 1/4-inch cone woofer, 1/2-inch PEI dome
tweeter and 4 kHz crossover frequency. The system's power amplifier, with
input/output connections and power switch, is mounted in the rear of one
of the enclosures, which also has conveniently side-mounted master volume,
balance and just added bass boost controls.

The MM-3 Series II (MSRP: $399.95 per system) is a powered three-piece
satellite/subwoofer configuration (using a pair of MM-1s as the
satellites), with a frequency response of 45 Hz to 18 kHz and crossover
frequencies of 150 Hz and 4 kHz. Mounted in the rear of the subwoofer
module, which contains a 6 l/2-inch dual voice coil long-excursion woofer,
is the same 50-Watt RMS power amplifier used in the MM-2.5 Series II. The
subwoofer module has its Master Volume, System Balance and Bass Boost
controls located conveniently located on the top of the enclosure.

Amplifier upgrades to the MM-2.5 Series II and the MM-3 Series II, include
two stereo low-level audio inputs (each with two RCA input jacks) which
can be independently selected or mixed together with the new continuously
variable microphone input to allow for use as a voice-over system for
presentations. In addition to the amplifier upgrades, HTP has improved
their woofers by incorporating a lower distortion design, with integrated
butyl rubber surround/gasket and bi-laminate poly/paper cone, with an
inverted seamless dust cap.

Other models scheduled to begin shipping in July, 1995, include the MM-I
bookshelf/auxillary speaker, the MM-2 center dialogue speaker and the
MM-1T tower loudspeaker systems, all starting as low as $149.95 a pair.

The MM-1 (MSRP: $149.95 per pair) is a two-way bookshelf design targeted
for auxiliary speaker and rear effects usage. It has a frequency response
of 100 Hz to 18 kHz, 4 1/2-inch cone mid/bass driver, 1/2-inch PEI dome
tweeter, 4 kHz crossover frequency and rear-mounted HF level controls. The
MM-2 (MSRP: $99.95 each) is a two-way, center dialogue speaker with a
frequency response of 85 Hz to 18kHz, 4 1/2-inch cone mid/bass driver,
1/2-inch PEI dome tweeter and 5 kHz crossover frequency. The entire
