GAMMALINK EXPANDS FAX SOFTWARE PROGRAM

PC-to-Fax Hardware Platform Leader Signs New Select Member Companies and
Broadens Program Focus to Include LAN-Fax, Voice/Fax, Messaging and
Toolkit Applications

SUNNYVALE, Calif. (4/24/95)--With a goal of forming pro-active business
relationships with independent software vendors and furthering the growth
of the PC-based fax market, GammaLink has introduced its expanded Fax
Software Program (FSP). The FSP program is designed to link the strengths
of leading fax software companies with GammaLink in an ongoing
relationship. This provides customers with robust fax solutions that
combine the advantages of GammaLink's hardware with software technology to
meet the diverse communications requirements of different organizations.

The FSP program provides members with opportunities for joint marketing and
promotional efforts, technical support, educational services, sales lead
generation and qualification, international product approvals and
distribution, and future product feature and strategy development. The
program also promotes the myriad of applications and technology now
available to users in the computer-based fax market.

GammaLink originated the FSP program (originally called the Fax Server
Partner Program) in January 1993 with six leading fax server software
vendors as charter members. The expanded program now reflects the growth
and diversity of the computer-based fax market and includes member
companies involved in voice/fax, fax-on-demand, integrated voice response,
messaging, computertelephony integration, and development toolkit
applications, as well as LAN-fax server applications.

"We are very excited about the positive response we have received from fax
software companies about our expanded FSP program," said Rich Willis,
GammaLink's director of marketing. "We felt it was important for GammaLink
to continue to grow this program to match the tremendous growth occurring
throughout the computer-based fax industry. We also felt it was important
for GammaLink to further its leadership stance during this time of growth,
as GammaLink not only invented the PC-to-Fax market in 1983, but has
become the internationally recognized de facto fax hardware standard,
especially since several other hardware vendors have exited from the
market."

In addition to broadening the FSP program's scope, GammaLink has redefined
the levels of vendor company participation in the program. Over 180
domestic and international companies are currently participating in the
FSP program, with an additional 20 companies slated to become members. To
encourage further program growth and participation, GammaLink has created
a Select FSP member status to recognize companies that are leaders in
their market niche, and who are strongly committed to the FSP program and
to GammaLink's fax technology. The newly announced Select FSP companies
include LAN-fax server software vendors Alcom Corporation, Mountain View,
Calif.; Global Village Communication, Inc., Sunnyvale, Calif.; Optus
Software, Inc., Somerset, N.J.; RightFAX, Tucson, Ariz,; Traffic Software,
New York, N.Y.; TransFax Corporation, Campbell, Calif.; and Trio
Information Systems, Inc., Raleigh, N.C.

The Select FSP member companies in the voice/fax, messaging and development
toolkit markets include fax-on-demand and integrated voice response
vendors Edify Corporation, Santa Clara, Calif., Ibex Technologies, Inc.,
Placerville, Calif. and Telephone Response Technologies, Inc. (TRT),
Roseville Calif.; network messaging leader Lotus Development Corporation,
Cambridge, Mass.; and toolkit developers Instant Information Inc.,
Tualatin, Ore. and Parity Software, San Francisco, Calif.
