NEW DESKMAN/2 SUPPORTS NEW OS/2 Warp, VERSION 3

Upgraded Utility Suite Includes New Enhancements For Managing the Workplace
Shell

COLUMBIA, SC--DeskMan/2, the award-winning suite of utilities from
Development Technologies, Inc., designed to manage the OS/2 environment,
has been upgraded with new features that both enhance the original product
and take advantage of new capabilities in IBM's new OS/2 Warp version.

Available now, the DeskMan/2 Version 1.51 provides support for OS/2's new
animated icons, launch pad and various new customization options offered
by the Workplace Shell.

In addition, the new version of DeskMan/2 offers an enhanced command-line
interface that for the first time permits a user to direct the activities
of the Workplace Shell objects from the command line.

The new DeskMan/2 also features increased speed, revised user interlace for
easier installation, significantly reduced memory consumption and new
options for restoring the Workplace Shell to its original configuration.
Enhanced command line interface and CID support will enable users and
system administrators to dynamically reconfigure VUEMan/2, DeskMan/2's
powerful virtual desktop and window manager.

Virtual desktops make multi-tasking easy, allowing you to use and organize
many concurrent activities with an easy to use, drag and drop, point and
click user interface. It is like having up to 81 monitors that all fit
right on your desk!

"The new DeskMan/2 makes it easier for individual users and administrators
to work faster and more flexibly within the OS/2 Workplace Shell," said
Noel Bergman, president of Development Technologies, Inc. "It saves time,
enhances productivity and offers a comfort factor that has never been
available."

DeskMan/2 recently received OS/2 magazine's Editor's Choice Award as an
"outstanding product that makes a difference in the OS/2 community."

OS/2 2.0 Lead Architect, Dr. Mike Kogan, says, "DeskMan/2 dramatically
improves the ability of corporations and users to get the most out of
OS/2."

DeskMan/2 permits OS/2 users and administrators to create customized
desktops, to back up and restore those desktops to the precise
configuration desired and to manipulate windows and objects in the
Workplace Shell in a virtually unlimited number of ways.

DeskMan/2 offers all the advantages of do-it-your-way desktop management
plus the quick and easy migration of icons, objects and desktops between
machines at home or in the office.

With DeskMan/2, users can password-protect objects. In addition, it is
possible to prohibit users from deleting, copying, moving, renaming,
shadowing or creating new objects; and bar them from find, sort, arrange,
system setup, lockup, shutdown and other menu items making it possible to
standardize a department's desktops for maximum job efficiency without
fear that objects will be altered.

Suggested list price is $79.95. Quantity pricing is available. Upgrades to
Version 1.51 are available free of charge to current DeskMan/2 customers.
Technical support is available through CompuServe, IBM's TalkLink, other
on-line services and by phone.

DeskMan/2 is available through many dealers and mail order resellers.
