New York, NY, June 15th, 1995 - Cyber Cafe Inc. announced today it will
open SOHO's first Internet cafe on June 22nd. Located on the corner of
Prince and Lafayette Streets, Cyber Cafe combines cutting-edge technology
from Compaq and NetCom On-Line Communications to provide novices and
experts with Internet instruction.

Founded by three entrepreneurs, Cyber Cafe aims to demystify the Internet
by creating a local presence for people to exchange thoughts and benefit
from friendly instructors in a warm cafe environment. "The Internet is an
incredible source of information, but cyberspace can still be very
confusing. Good old fashion face-to-face help makes the Internet even more
valuable," says Evan Galbraith, Development Director and one of the three
partners. Instructors are always available to answer questions and to
offer beginners a private introductory course. More advanced lessons
include customized searches and homepage development.

Equipped with 7 Compaq Presario CDTV 978 multimedia computers, Cyber Cafe
is linked to a Netcom T1 line, approximately 100 times faster than a
domestic 14.4 kbps modem. Customers who want to take advantage of the
superior technology can download pictures, video and large text files,
like books, in a matter of seconds. A scanner, printer and fax are also
available. For software, Cyber Cafe uses NetCom's award winning Netcruiser
to browse the web, ftp, gopher, telnet, IRC, e-mail and newsgroup. "Our
goal is not only to offer the best, but also to show people how to use it
effectively. Having the best equipment gives first time users a good
impression and keeps experts coming back for more," says Tomas Wise,
Marketing Director and partner.

Cyber Cafe is also a full service cafe with a menu consisting of handmade
organic foods, delicious french pastries, flavored coffees, cappuccinos
and teas. Fresh fruit drinks, special "Cyber Shakes" and smart drinks also
add to the health oriented image. The upscale atmosphere and unique SOHO
location stresses Cyber Cafe's dedication to top quality equipment and
service. "The cafe environment helps bring the Internet back to earth. We
want to be a neighborhood place that people can rely on for a good cup of
coffee as well as Internet access," says Michael Youmans, Cyber Cafe's
Manager and partner.
