Description : 
This is about the 30th rebuild of one of my favorite levels I've ever made. This is
the level I fire up when ever one of my team sends me a new gun or powerup to play
with. Taking full advantage of Unreal's rather LARGE possible level size, I wanted to 
build a wide open battle ground just like some of the greatest DOOM levels used to 
have. To spice it up I added four whirling blades of death, some bases in each corner, 
a fast-access tunnel system, and a tower in the center. And that was good, for awhile.
But as I built more levels and learned more about making better levels, the old battle
field began to look a little dismal. So last week I finally sat down and went about
making it better.... and failed horribly. Sucking it in I decided to attack the 
problem and rebuild it from scratch. 

Everything, except the whirling blades of death, is new. The stairs in the corner
bases are now slightly wider, the whole level is slightly brighter, and the whole
thing runs about x10 better! In addition I added a three level system to the tower,
including a snipe-able roof, and a "sky-highway" system for those who are REALLY
daring. Only a madman would use it, but there's plenty of those out there! I even
added some new corona lights that ACTUALLY work like their suppose to! :)

Known Bugs : The "tiny-invisible-pocket" problem is ALOT less prevelent on
this map. I set the editor to "Optimal" and the cuts really low, but there are
still about 5 or 6 micro-pockets in the level. Their only about 6 inches wide, 
but they will still occasional eat bullets and disrupter blasters, and if you use fancy
weapons like the NUKER (L LOVE that gun!), you can blow yourself to kingdom come
if a bolt gets caught in that gap well your standing too close. Just be aware of 
them and they're very easy to shoot around. 

In addition, when looking through the sniper's scope from the top of the tower, 
one of the base's will occasionally become see through due to clipping errors. I don't
know how to fix this, but it's pretty inlikely you will ever see it. 


* How to use this level * 

Copy this into your "Unreal\Maps" directory and start up Unreal. Then
select a multi-play or Botmatch game, and select it in the level
select area. Or just double click on the sucker for an instant "Team"
botmatch.

Author's Soapbox:
Some disreputable companies and magazines used my levels in their CD compellations 
under the promise of sending me a copy of the CD, and NEVER did! Daniel Emery
from PC Zone Magazine and Steve from StudiosWRF, just to name two. I didn't even
ask for the CD's but I really hate getting lied to about them. Level designers
everywhere should boycott jerks like that!

FIDO, local BBS etc.), provided you include this file and leave the archive 
intact.
