This tutorial will guide you thru the installation
of a Patch. To get you started, I've included a
Patch that utilises most of the QFront features
you might use.

Lets start. Select the Patch-page by clicking on
the "PATCH" button on the top shortcut bar.

On the Patch-page:
Top left, is a list of all the current categories.
Each Patch is assigned to ALL and to
whatever other category the Patch was
installed to. If this is the first time you are
using QFront, the only category will be ALL.
At a later stage i will explain how to add/remove
  and rename a category.

Bottom Left, is a list of all the Patches in the selected
category. If you dont have any Patches installed the
bottom left list will be empty.

Top Right is the description to the currently selected
patch. This description is VERY important. Qfront will
use this description to find and help bind keys to impulses.
For those new to Quake, an impulse is a Quake command
used by the Patch programmers for a specific weapon or
feature. Eg. in normal Quake, the axe is "impulse 1" and
is bound to the key 1.

Bottom Right is a tabbed notebook listing all the impulses
mentioned in the description, Email and Http addrs, custom
keys and the current bindings. Custom keys allow you to
define settings that this patch needs to run. Usually the
patch author includes a cfg file with the settings you need.
I suggest you load this file into the Custom settings, more on
  this later.

Bottom is a shortcut to the most used Patch related functions.
Bindkeys are used to help you bind keys for this patch.
Custom keys are for custom settings for this particular patch.
Maintain is used to Maintain your Patches, eg. Install,
rename
and delete. All of these functions maybe selected by Right
  clicking on the Patchlist.

Now for INSTALLING a patch! Select the category you wish to
install the patch to. If you only have ALL, then click on that.
On the Patch list, rightclick and select INSTALL from the menu.
Alternatively, you can also click on the Maintain button, then
select the INSTALL option.
