* Description *

This map is a remake of a deathmatch level I made for DOOM II, with a few
added twists.  We like to call it the Disco of Death.  Everything centers on
a large square platform, floating in slime.  You can jump over to one of four
L-shaped ledges housing the big guns, if you like...  Or you can blast those
who try (everybody spawns by a shotgun)!  If you miss or fall off, you're in
the ooze and the only way out is through one of many teleporters that all go
to the main one in the middle of the platform (telefrags a plenty!).  And for
those who REALLY like to tempt fate, there is a BFG directly under the center
of the floating platform.  To get it, you'll need the environmental suit that
nobody in their right mind is going to let you get!  It is on a platform
above the center teleporter, which requires quite a bit of jumping skill to
get to.

Single Player           : No exit; one rocket-launcher chick (it takes two to
                          tango!).

Deathmatch  2-8 player  : You better believe it!!
Skill Levels            : Makes no difference.

Base(s)                 : Made from scratch, but built keeping the original
                          (RECOGNYZ.WAD) in mind.

Additional Notes        : Expect your frag counts to reach tripple digits!!!

* How To Play *

To load RECOGNYZ into the game, copy RECOGNYZ.BSP to your QUAKE2/BASEQ2/MAPS
directory and, at the game console, type:

   map RECOGNYZ

To play it over the modem or on a network, consult the game documentation.

* Permissions *

Authors may not use this level as a base to build additional levels without
giving me credit for the original version, as well as stating the changes
made within a text file.  Also, please don't recycle the RECOGNYZ name with
your modified versions.

You may distribute RECOGNYZ.BSP in any electronic format (Internet, Diskette,
CD, etc.) as long as you include this text file.  If RECOGNYZ.BSP is to be
distributed on a CD, all I expect is to hear about it..  Thanks!
